i had lag all morning then i logged off, later(now) im trying to log on, it fully loads, goes to the connecting to server and says it can connect

LOL I joined VMK just last week and I am allready getting used to all these server problems. The lag in combination with the downtime really spoils te fun.

In the game i'm experiencing trouble in my guest room.

there seems to be little sections of usually valid spaces to walk on that are not allowing u to walk/place items on them in guest rooms.

Once again VMK plans an event without thinking things out first and somehow I am still shocked. After spending 1 hour attempting to do the lovely Presidential Quest they finally realize that once again it was poorly planned and executed so they have to shut their own game. What a joke.

I am almost 99.9 pecent sure they had to change something bc I noticed a change. I couldn't trade President's Day Pin, and then they closed, and I tried again and I could! OMG I think I found the reason! W00t! W00t!

This is actually pretty common for the main site to go down if they are having troubles. Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions about a new main page.

VMK is a ghost town! I have been in the host room q all night (gotta love those gold hat chairs!). The Q is at 80 now (and I just joined in at that number). LOL there are not enough ppl to even start a fireworks game and starting a pirates game takes forever!

And with no friends on...it gets pretty boring around here.

Each time I attempt to log onto VMK, I get a message saying that there may be a Technical Error with either VMK or Disney. Happening to anyone else?

EDIT: Nevermind, guess it was just my computer.

No it was not your computer vmk just shares a log in server with Disney.com website and it gets crowded and will bump you out if the server is too busy. All i ever do is just try try again and usuaully I get in well enough. Granted it does not happen all the time, but it does happen even to the best of computers ;)

So this morning I am having the worst time getting in. I can get as far as the main menu when I first log in, but then nothing happens when I click on a destination and then VMK crashes always when I click on the guest rooms. Then it brings me back to log-in and i get the black screen. What is going on here - so frustrating!!

Advice:

Clear chashe and all that cookie stuff

Use a different browser (Download mozilla, it never failes me)

I cleared my cache and cookies and downloaded and am using mozilla, but still have the same problem. Thanks for the advice though - it seems like this is something with vmk. I tried logging in from another computer and had the same problem. I hope I don't miss the quest :(

Confirmed. Logins are down, probably for the night, given past issues like this. People in the game can keep playing, but no one can log in.

wow that happened again? I am glad they fixed it quick. login problems are due to the fact that vmk shares a login server with Disney.com and there are ppl from all over the globe logging into it. After awhile the login servers get overloaded with visitors and it breaks down. When it does IT has to reboot those servers and depending on how much overload there was rebooting could take quite sometime. So if a 503 ever ends up on your screen, just remember vmk has to share ;)

Mine was working fine all day. It only happened to the people that were trying to log on. :D

yea i cant get to the log screen it keeps saying internet explorer cannot be displayed

I just tried it again using other computer and the log in window isn't loading. I had it opened on my computer

vmk is down..i tried a secret way to log in i found a long time ago and it said connection failed. not even VMK Pal works.

yea o_o but is anyone still on vmk? or is it just people having troubles logging in?

I believe it is down right now, cant log in.

On the home page is says Virtual Magic Kingdom ( VMK ) and then underneath it says ' text ' and there is nothing under it

Yea that happened to me too, but i managed to log in because the log in button there for me

Now when i try to log in it brings me to a screen saying This page is currently not available but there are ppl on the site :(

It wont let me log in! It's saying Server Cannot be Found.

When i log in its only showing black

This has been happening to me to, but I have fixed it doing all of these over the past times this has happened, and try do all of them:
Delete your cookies
If you use a router, unplug it and plug it back in
restart your computer
reconnect to your internet connection
Try logging in using a different browser or username/password, this might tell you that its only your account
Wait, maybe its just loading.
If your using a router, renew your IP address
And last, and what most of us least want to do..contact your internet service provider, or if you use a router with DSL, contact the router provider and internet service provider
Well, I hope one of these things can help you guys!

i just tried to log on adn it says my internet is down.which it is not bc im on this!

EDIT^: Yea it says my internet is down too, but that wouldnt be surprising, except that im online, I get really bad service anyway


Oh this is weird... wonder what happened... my friend was just telling me about how she couldn't get on and then I told her to try a couple things before I realized that I couldn't get on either!

Now our goal is to get on before closing.

LOL disney is just ridiculous. do they have any idea what online community and games really are? What a joke. and yes i am still riding pan but only have 4 ppl on my list playing. Now i know why! lol
