we have the occasional hosted host event where hosts talk to players and staff go judge rooms for best guest/game/quest and staff monitor players to see if they shall, unfortunetly, need to ban anybody, but is that all they do all day? i know it's kind of mean saying they aren't doing anything, but i'm not. i just want to know what staff do when they are not juding or hosting rooms...

And if you didnt know, staff are paid to work a CERTAIN hour/s of the day, not all day ;)

I think they just sit around and moniter VMK, going from room to room. '.' I really don't know @_@

Make improvements, moderate VMK, test new items. Each staff type has their own responsibilities in watching over VMK.

They aren't always on. Just like real jobs the VMK_ Staff have shifts to work. While on their shifts they are helping out, answering help buttons, working on reports, etc.

The HOSTs come on mainly to build/host their HOST_ Games. Sometimes you will see both sets of staff off duty playing mini games, hanging out, etc.

Staff are busy discussing the latest Idol episode over the watercooler.

Oh, and their also answering to the help button, checking out reports, and working on the game overall.

There are different staff with different responsibilities, as slinkyman said. The VMK Staff are moderators and they answer reports, Contact Us messages, etc. The HOSTs build the fun rooms for us to enjoy and award prizes. The testers create new items for VMK and test them in different situations/scenarios to make sure the item works and is ready to be put into the game.

Getting payed to play a game is my all-time dream. They moderate... Hosts run games. Simple, no?

ok i understand that the testers might have busy days but they have been testing the same stuff for ages! how many call for helps do they have to answer in a day? the contact us sends an automated response at first so they can take their time answering those :l and the hosts have 3 host rooms a day tops! and i think they leave the rooms in tact for the next time it comes around so what do They do all day?


i'm just saying that it doesn't sound like that hard of work (except for the patience with annoying players part ;)) so why don't they have more host games? more released items? better thought out games (no offense hall of mirrors but the winning line was kind of a mess)?

im not trying to be mean but i don't see what they do all day that they are so busy with... btw what does yavn do? he sometimes gives a column once a week but thats all we ever hear? (except for the once in a while appearence in vmk that is so secret you don't know about it until it is over ;))

Do they work from home or at a VMK Office building?

Staff do everything important. That is their problem. They should be hanging around with us players when they are free but they would rather do other things. Us players would love to hang out with them, but they say "There isn't enough time." This is one thing they should change. I do, however, like how on New Years this year they were walking around VMK hanging with players.
