Well, I have the choice between... 7 days in March on Disney Cruise Line or... 8 days at Walt Disney World...! ... In June (Oh, joy.) Which one should I choose? WDW is a long time from now, but I've never been there except when I was 3 (For Halloween, I can't remember anything except being in a parade and my dad going down a waterslide.) Or, I can choose to go on the cruise in March, where people I know are going to be, so it'd be pretty fun! I've never been on a cruise either, so it'd be awesome! Any opinions??:Question1:

I would choose the cruise, there are two experiences in one; crusing and disney. Coming from someone who was on 13 cruises, I would choose the cruise. Anways, WDW is much more crowded and you are always on the go. Cruises are more relaxing.

I would go eight days at Walt Disney World. You can pack in more for your time, not saying that you'll have more fun. That'll be equal for which ever you choose.

Well, the cruise (Supringly) is more expensive by about a thousand. Wowie!!

The cruise is so much better than Disney World, trust me you won't regret it. I am going on my 3rd cruise (2nd on Disney) in October so we really love doing them.

I still can't decided! My parents are comparing it too other cruises *Cough, Carnival* and saying it's way more expensive.

I would ,by a long shot, prefer Walt Disney World

I'd say Disneyworld if it wasn't in June. Way too hot, and way too crowded. You should pick the cruise.

The Carnival cruises are great, but Disney has a much better atmosphere. I loved the two Disney Cruises I have been on and I would choose to go on the cruise only because since it is more expensive, you tend to do them less often if you're on a budget.

^That part is VERY true,(Disneyworld gets VERY hot and crowded) But I would go with the theme park,(Im a WDWFreak) But also Disney Cruise Line is a fun and sometimes REALLY relaxing! also, they've made the Toy Story: The Musical at Disney Cruise Line, Which i've heard it's going to be GREAT! So either place is great, but i always get a Carefree Good Time at Disneyworld:mickey:

Hmm.. this is a tough one. Can you ask them if you can do a land and sea package? Where you stay at WDW half the time and the other half on the cruise. If you go, go in march it may be crowded but it wont be hot and crowded.

An 8-day long cruise? I like it! I thought they only did 7 nighters? :)
Personally, I'd choose the cruise. It's June, and you're in the Caribbean. What could be better? Ride times will be long, and it will be tiring walking around parks all day. I'd choose a long DISNEY cruise (if it's not Disney choose WDW ;)), and enjoy yourself at Ocean Quest!

I think I'd like WDW better in June come to think of it... Do they have single rider there?

By the way... Cruise is only for 7 days! Sorry, I was just on an 8 day roll!

I've been on two Disney Cruises, and going on my third for my first time on the Wonder. I'd say choose the cruise. It has something for everybody!

If you have never been to WDW, it seems to me thats what you should do first. 8 days is plenty of time to see everything without rushing around - and WDW is definately something to experience.

I've been to both. Will go back to both... but WDW is definately where its at.

The answer I've been looking for ;) I'm trying to persuade my parents towards this. Can I use your comment in my persuasive presentation Priz?

I'd rather stay at WDW. I hate being on boats.

I would pick WDW. Because you get to ride some rides and stay at a hotel and stuff like that!

Feel free. :) If theres anything else I can answer, I'll be happy to. I'm sure many others will as well.

I think the suggestion to do a land-sea package is also a good one, tho I'm not sure its enough time for a first visit to WDW.

That's what I was thinking about Land/Sea.

Don't forget the extra magic hours. If you can't do land and sea, I would do WDW. Just curious if you got to WDW what hotel are you guys going to stay at?

Yeah. I'm just gonna do WDW. I would really like to stay at PORT Orleans Riverside. It looks like a nice hotel :) Any suggestion on that topic?

By the way EtnaGreen love the "Deal with it!" Classic :)

Why thank you, I got it from Taylor from Kid nation. Now back on topic, port orleans riverside is really nice has a nice pool. Its just.. kind of a boring resort. I like pop century, all stars movies, animal kingdom lodge, and resorts with cool themes. still its really nice and pretty so have fun. :)

Carnival is awful, they have nothing, I sware. I've been on both and I can say that the ships on DCL are a million times better and no offense to other people but Carnival almost seems like "The lower class cruise line".

EDIT: Aww.. the Disney Cruise would have been better, that's all I got to say. Disney World is fun, but just not that amazing, I really don't know why. Disneyland owns..

Exactly. Carnival is good for first time cruisers. I have been on Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, and Royal Caribbean.

I think you should have done cruise, because it gets soooo hot at WDW!!
I went there in August, and it was VERY hot!
But hey, it's your summer! I hope you have fun with whatever you choose. (Or already chose.)

well, in my opinion, i would choose WDW. i have been on the disney cruise line, but WDW gives you more choices ( including food :57: ), and more places to move about. But maybe if you have a smaller family you might like the cruise. But if i had the choice, i would choose WDW :)

Well, NOW I've gone to WDW...me and my family didn't get that same magical feeling we get from DLR...We don't really wanna go back to WDW (at least for a while). Even though DLR is much smaller, I like it more.

I've never been on the cruise before...so I'll go for the cruise. My dad is afraid of boats, though, so that'd be a problem.

Auctually august is one of the best times to go. In June and July its sweltering, and in august it rains short five minute showers so it cools you down, and during august most families dont go because of school, so whatever you choose have fun..:vcool:

I would choose WDW too. Eight days is plenty of time to do everything you want to do and then some! You can use your extra time to do the princess meals, ride all of the monorails ;) , and use lots of fastpasses to ride your favorite rides more than once.
