I'm on a apple computer but using windows vista but how do I take a picture of the vmk screen? I tried the apple way but doesn't work.Any ideas?

I'm not sure of the apple way, so sorry if this is what you've already tried.

Is there button on your keyboard that says 'Print Screen'/'PrtScn'?
If there is, click it when you want to take a picture of the screen, then go onto paint or any other graphics software, and click paste. From there you can edit it how you like.

Trying using print screen and shift at the same time and then pasting into paint or your graphics software.

Thanks for helping me. I found out myself I used a on-screen key board and it had the print screen button. problem resolved
