Ever since 2 days ago, I have been having to wait atleast 10 minutes for vmk to load @_@
This is seriously annoying. 0_0
What is up with this?

When I first joined VMK back in June, I had this problem also and thought it was my slow computer. (Even though its not slow o_o)
After halloween, It started to load MUCH faster, but now it is back to the way it was when I first joined >_<

And It takes forever for characters to load and such and my clothes take forever to load and this NEVER happened!

I REALLY need help because if it isn't solved, I'm quitting cause it takes me 10 minutes for vmk to load, 5 minutes for peoples stupid swirling blue bodys to load, and 5 minutes+ for my furnish and clothes to load totalling up to over 20 minutes..

Do you reccomend me sending this to Contact us? IDK just help pls :)

i've also noticed this.
vmk was slow, so i cleared my cookies and all that bad trojan-virus stuff, to try and make it faster.
My computer is lightning fast, VMK- isnt.

I've noticed this problem, too. I joined about a week after VMK started, and everything was totally fine! But now, it takes me 20+ minutes to log in, 10 minute for my clothing to load, and about 2 minutes for my furnish to load. Its bothersome.

I've been noticing this as well. My computer's very fast as well, and it still takes a long time for it to load. Yet another reason that I don't play VMK much anymore...

It was taking me about 15 minutes to load too then we did a defrag on the computer and now it loads fast again. It started for me many months ago too. We even bumped up my memory and it didnt help until we did defrag.
try and see if it doesnt help you too.

It's loading fine for me now. However, going on at night (at around 6:00), when everyone is on, I either can't get on, or it loads a bit slower than it usually does.

Nope. I think it was just that it was a weekend, etc.

Update; Contact us sent me a detailed message of how to fix it. It had a list of about 10 things to do (all of them each being a individual suggestion) I did 3 of them, and VMK Is continuing to be like this.

I still need more advice, please help!

Ermm. I'm not as you would say ' hi-tech ' What and how do I de-frag my computer?

Click on "start" -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragmenter.

You should get a gray box that pops up. Click on "Defragment". It will run in the background. I'd recommend doing this while you aren't trying to run other programs.

Also, in general, VMK has been running slow for a LOT of people. Could be the times of day, could be the days. Just be patient, I'm sure it will resolve itself.

that is what happened last time - but i didnt care much because i was new to vmk so i wasn't on as much as i am now

BTW - its not my computer - my computer isn't even a year old. ;) so i KNOW its vmk.

.. and when i got the latest internet explorer ( that was one of the things contact us suggested) - it gave me stuff that i needed to get done for VMK to run which i also did

its a waiting game i guess.
ill keep you all updated - anything other things to help would be appreciated!

okay, so i defraged my computer. that did nothing.

maybe it is your connection don;t defrag reboot that emans u delte all on your computer -


note: get like ive rw dvds which will be very cheap and save all of what u want to keep on the dvds and don't save any thing that u can just download back gl hope this idea helps you! :)

another idea is to use a use account on your computer never a guest on and don't have aim on too :)

Waffles it is unfortunate but since the checkers and Magic Shop opened the lag and buggyness has gotten bad. I play fireworks dreading the lag so much I never get my high score of 6,000 anymore. So i think if anything else i guess we all got to wait until vmk figures out how buggy their system is acting and make corrections to it. I have checked my computer and my network connections and there is nothing wrong. You would think a Disney website like VMK would have the ability to keep up a whole network of servers and not allow such an inconvenience on its players. sorry can't offer help, but I myself have tried everything.
