im trying to post a picture on my thread
ive seen ppl do it not as an attachment (like it says on MrGenie's guide)
how do i do that? (that's a different site or the gallery right?)

according to MrGenie's picture posting guide, you have to upload it as an attachment it always says my picture file is to big
how do i make it smaller?

when you upload a picture to the vmkfg (vmkf gallery) how do u get it on your post? (haven't tried to upload a picture yet)

You can post it in the gallery then right click to go to the porperties in properties there should be a long URL. Take that URL and copy it. THen go to the pot reply and cluick the picture (the one with the mountain and sun) and put the URL in there. THen post it and it will be in your post.

1) upload it to the gallery
2) after completely uploaded, right-click on the photo and highlight "view this image"
3) copy the URL from the address bar of that image
4) on your post click the little "insert image" icon (the yellow square with the mountain)
5) In the pop up window paste that URL you copied from before
6) your photo should show up!

EDIT: Capn_Brain stated a good way too. I had forgotten about "properties"

Once you have a picture on your computer, upload it to one of the forums Approved Hosting Sites (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131079). You will then get a and code, wrapped around a link, put that onto your post, and bob's your uncle, you have it.
