and most fairy tales now people think of the disney version

Well you have to admit their was some good, wait really good disney movies not made by disney himself. Their also has been a good share of bad ones, for instance valliant. But disney is working as hard as they can to make good movies for diferent ages and I think they are doing a really good job. I can think of alot of teenagers who would rather watch national treasure then cinderella if I am not mistaken. So I like both.

A few of the movies made when he was alive were really stinky. Even more of the movies that were made after he died are stinky.

It doesn't really matter - I'll just maintain that Disney makes mostly quality, but, like anyone, can mess up sometimes.

The storylines were great but you could never expect that type of quality of animation being as huge as back then. Walt made a lot of the movies based on legends and fairy tales from hundreds of years ago. Since they are all pretty much movies now, you couldn't expect to see many more of those type of fairy tale movies.

So since all the fairy tales are pretty much movies, movie companies must make up stories from scratch. I agree with persongonewild, the best Disney animated movies lately have been done by Pixar.

i know they make good movies but disney is thinking of going live action and cgi if disney wont animate the movies who will universal i dont think so columbia pictures no way only disney made animated movies so i think they were best made when he was alive that is my opinion i dont care about any one else's

Nope. A lot of great Disney movies were made while he was alive and a lot of great Disney movies have been made since he passed.

Sometimes I wonder what the movie world would be like today had Walt not made Snow White. He ran into so many obstacles while making that movie (financial problems, etc.) --- I'm glad he kept pressing forward to get it done.

It is actually an amazing film.

I'm not sure which I find better, but there is always something about the classic Disney movies that you can't recreate these days.

see if u like pixar movies or disney channle movies or anything like that remember if it wasnt for snow white that wouldnt have happened today and the theme parks disney was sitting at a fair with his daughters on a carousel and thinking where would be a good place for kids and parents to have fun and his movies helped a lot by paying for Disneyland

Movies from when the man was around, Pixar, movies from the late 80's through 1994, and Lilo and Stitch are good Disney movies. The rest are..eh...
