well my tv broke and i have the stuff in the back off my computer to plug the ps3 into it how do i get to the video mode so i can play the games?

What? The only way I can think of is getting this $200 thing, and playing your game on a small screen.

Probably the menu button on the front of your computer monitor is the best bet. However, doing this is silly - you should just get a new TV.
