OK, I'm having so much trouble putting music on my iTouch. When I got it on Christmas, I put about seven songs on it, like a test drive type thing. Now, I have no idea how I did it! I made my own library, kept plugging it in, and it wouldn't work! Can someone please help me?

I don't have the iTouch, but shouldn't it open iTunes and sync automatically? This might be a silly question but did you turn it on (so it's not idle) when you plugged it in?
This might help: http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/guidedtour/

I'm sorry, I don't know what an iTouch is. Perhaps you could call the device by its real name, the iPod Touch?
I have one, and um... yeah this didn't happen to me since it wasn't my first ipod and I actually knew how to use it. Do you even have iTunes? Try plugging it in and then opening iTunes if it doesn't open automatically. If you don't have iTunes, I have no idea how you put those 7 songs on your iPod and you should download it right away.

Yes, I have iTunes and sorry I didn't say the iPod Touch. (it means the same thing and everyone's different) I put my music on my Video iPod instead and it worked. Last night I kept unplugging it and plugging it in... didn't quite work. iTunes came up, but, uh, yeah.

I registered it like two times. Somehow, I was able to put more songs on it without making a library. (about five songs or so) It's all so confusing!!
