Where's the new magic stuff?

Guys...I figured it all out! This week is Invisibility week! There are a bunch of new items, but we just can't see them!

what if they changed the release days? instead of having new stuff released on friday, they only release on the actual weekend.

They could have a least left the old stuff if they weren't going to bring out anything new.

they're probably getting flooded with e-mails and the like from unhappy players. we've seen VMK late on stuff before, so it's not like this is brand new. personally, i'll wait till mid-day before i start to question the reality of a release today.

Heh, I was kind of expecting some marvelous item to come out when VMK opened on Jan. 1st (no, not at 2:00 in the morning ;)).

But hey.

Anyways, I am not going to complain; the people bringing the late updates/items are the ones who helped even CREATE VMK. ;)

I think a few weeks ago there were items released late. I think it was late by 30 minutes. So are there any new items now?

VMK will surely release new items this month. Sometimes they have released the new pin on the Monday following the first weekend. I'm glad for any reprieve in new releases so I can earn more credits...especially if there's going to be new magic released.

They took all the other stuff away. The only Host things are 2 more weeks of silly room judging. What about all the people that could not even enter?!

They really could not have some game wide Q's going on while the judging was happening???

Hmmm, well this is interesting. Since there is no pin and none have been seen on testers, then perhaps there is no set this month. There are only 4 Fridays this month so if none this weekend then I would not hold breath for a set at all.

I had a feeling that this month would be a let down from December. Last month had so many new and re-released goodies!

I wish VMK would just stretch the releases out a bit, rather than all at once. Perhaps the Christmas furnishings, the reindeer hat, the snowman Magic, and the pin sets for December. Then they could have the Gingerbread house pieces, the snowman hat, and the sweater/beanie clothes in January?

I think that would help the players budget their credits better.

Like I said in an earlier post; I am not going to be impatient or complain, because they brought us VMK... that is pretty much enough for me.

like the said im not at all surprised with vmk not releasing anything considering there are no host events on the calender besides the gingerbread judgeing .

So maybe good things are still on there way and the staff got to work late this morning and forget to "turn the new stuff on". But what upsets me is the way they hype it up for nothing (so far) and probably a handful of single use magic this month if anything.

There could be something later perhaps? They tend to release some items (occasionally) later in the day, or in the early afternoon. I don't know.

See, if it is a "MAGICAL" new year, and when you look at how many unreleased magic pins there are, let's hope for a lot of them to be released this month. Also, be sure to save your credits!! I only have about 10k right now, so...I better get going.

Actually .. I'm happy they didn't released anything today because I'm on a very very .. very low on credits! Most spend from our last month and now i have only 4,000 credits, just hope they have some sort of double credits for pirates or mansion .. will actually make that triple for mansion. (Since they already have double credits still in mansion) =)

She always says that lol. I don't think VMK would give a us a hint through Esmeralda, but you never know.

I think they'll be released at 12:00 (known as the magical hour in most places.. hint hint).

Oh no VMK recently has done awesome changing the NPC's to tell us about new stuff.... Uh only they usually change it about two weeks into the month and then leave it forever like i think ned still says to look at the emporium each week for november's pin set? i don't remember lol it was there for a while :wave2:

lol sorry random response, in light of i don't know how much savings i need to buy stuff lol, your new magic ideas made me think of stuff i'd like to be able to do in vmk like save favorite outfits or put pins in a pin album or whatever lol so we need more magic!!

Pretty sure I saw a New Years 2008 Pin on 1/1/08 so we have gotten one item this month.

More then likely nothing will happen until the end of judging. This is a great time to work on rebuilding those credits you spent during Jolly Holiday Month. I am glad that there is a break and can't wait until later in the month.

the New Year 2007 pin was from a in game quest that ran most or all of the month of January 2007. :rolleyes: LOL If you were refering to the New Years 2008 Pin, then I stand corrected. We have had 1 new item so far this Magical Month of January!

Agree, sort of. October and December were awesome. Tons of new stuff as well as tons of credits being spent. January would be a good month to sit back and chill and reaccumulate some credits.

HOWEVER, my only arguement to that is that VMK should not have hyped up Magic month. Had they said nothing or said January would be a blah month, I'd be very happy with that. But I won't lie, when I heard this was magic month I was more excited then I had been in a while. I've for the past three days been waiting for today to see what new magic would be out or at least what re-released stuff would be out. Maybe there's something to come tomorrow but for right now I just feel let down. Mostly because they got my hopes up. -Steps down from soap box-

I have no problem resting up and saving credits from 'December shopping madness'.
But I really wish Yavn were more specific in his pronouncements about new items and events. For example:

Look for a new quest on January 11th. With a cool new prize!

No weekend pin series this month.:(

I enjoy the magic of the wonderful friends and the new experiences I have each VMK day.
I enjoy the magic playing games and earning credits.
I enjoy the magic of helping new ppl find their way around the kingdom.
I enjoy being a part of a magical community like VMKF.
