Some girl asked people do to do something and I said "I won't - <that> is wrong, don't do it". And then this girl's friend is like "Imagine omg you're so rude I'm reporting".

So I left VMK for a while.

That's what I do when people say they'll report me - just log out. I never do anything bad in VMK, but stupid people still report me, or at least threaten to. By leaving, I sometimes make them (the reporters) think that I was banned by the staff already. And I think that VMK can't ban you unless you're actually in the game, although that may be wrong. Anyway, I'll log back in in about an hour, or maybe just tomorrow, depending on when my sister's friend leaves so I can go play Warhawk :D.

Hmm.. I just say 'Go ahead, I highly (high.lie) doubt that staff will ban me for that particular reason.'
It's really dumb that they think I'll get banned for the most babyish reason.

A) I love the sci-fi dine in. I hang out there a lot with my friends, and we pretend we're at WDW and we order food. ( Iknow we're dorks, but it's way fun! ;))

B) I do think that people report for no good reason, and that is why staff just ignore these reports.

I use Whipstersh's quote 'Yes. I'm an awful, awful person' or simply stay there and ignore them - since that is what Vmk will suggest I do.

I've gotten reported about 12-15 times today - for winning at potc o.O

I wonder if people make up junk in the report because they know that what they say isn't bad...

1. I think that it is extremely rude of you to tell her how to run her life. In your opinion, it is wrong. In hers, it is not. So don't tell her not to do it; you are not her guardian.

2. If I was there, I might have reported you for harassment.

3. "...but stupid people still report me..." how are they STUPID? You are the one who is telling them what to do, when it is not your job to do so! I guess I am just a "stupid person" too because I would most definately report you if you were being mean. You also state that "you have never done anything wrong..." but you JUST gave an example of you being mean to someone.

I used to do that like in 2006 early 2007 but I just only report for serious issues now and I tell the truth

He was more or so stating his opinion in the matter, rather than being mean. Saying that something is wrong isn't necessarily mean unless you take it to be.

Yes, I do believe that is one of my weaknesses.

I've actually been doing good with not getting people to report me lately, lol. Whenever someone says they do, (why on earth would you tell someone you reported them?!) I simply say: 'VMK bans players for False Reporting'

I usually say that too.

And people usually tell people that they repoerted to show them like "Haha! look i reported you" makes them feel more powerful i guess, (i never tell lol). And like i said before, sometimes its a threat.

If I know I didn't do anything wrong, I don't worry. They'll get the ban probably from bugging them with something that wasn't suppose to be used by the Help option.

I've never reported someone but if I did, I wouldn't tell them. I've heard people say that they reported someone and they told the person that they did and then they get banned for about 24 hours because the person said they did - insert something against the VMK Values - even though they didn't

I dont really report anyone anymore because you can get banned for doing it. If I do see somene saying they will report someone I warn them and tell them they will get banned for false reporting ( considering everything is false reporting ).

I think I got reported again today for asking a guy why he was friends with so many "new,byes". O_o so I left again.

The thing about what happened at the Dine-In is that the girl I was talking to wasn't the one who "reported" me. It was some idjit bystander who by coincidence also happened to be a girl and felt that it would be a good thing to stick up for her "friend". So yeah.

And to the person who said that they love the Dine-In, I do too. It's a great room, but there's all sorts of guests in there who do <example>.

I agree...that was pretty rude :/

But, if someone ever tells me they will report me even though I didn't do anything wrong, I think it's best to just ignore them by not saying anything back. If you say something clever, you're encouraging them to talk back to you again, and it could eventually lead to something that is against the rules and someone will actually have a reason to be reported. See what I mean?

And, if you're wondering, I'm pretty sure VMK can ban you if you are on or not.

Well, yes, but hardly worth a report. People wander Main Street swearing their heads off and nobody reports them.

The worst part about <you know> in VMK is that the kids doing it are only like 10.
