VMK communicator? In what way are they communicating? It's simply another way to download screen shots which we can get anyway.

Well.. as for the Host "events" well... I looked what was happenings and all I see is some judging.. a room competition, judging, and some more judging for a ride competition.

Maybe they meant for the communicator to be like the thing in that cartoon, kim possible?

The VMK Communicator doesn't communicate, though. Kim got to talk to Wayne with hers. And StitchMad, you can't download screenshots with the Communicator, can you?

Yeah I mean really. And it says on the YoaMD website that the celebration only started in 2007, but it actually started in like September 2006 (well, officialy in October, but anyway...).

Also another little rant, that's completely unrelated but i thought people would want to talk about it while we're on the topic of Disney being not at its best, I couldn't believe when Chris Sanders was fired and American Dog was dropped. I loved the cat with the eye patch. The replacement, Bolt, looks stupid.

Anyway, let's hope that better things start happenings for the Walt Disney Company soon.

Personally I think extending that was a great idea. I know once it is gone people will wish it would come back. And I agree about the communicator it is not as useful as the main page.

No, not really. I know I won't. It overflows the parks, which are supposed to be magical places, with creepy, scummy people who just came to try and get something free.

I kinda chuckled a little when I saw that too.

lol i tried downloading the communicator and all it did was annoy me with its stupid, unhelpful pop ups and sound effects. it didn't give me any information i couldnt have figured out from the homepage

Because a million people out of the billion(s) of people around the world who come to disney is a lot.

I'm sorry, but you could have judged a room while typing that, AND a gingerbread house, is a gingerbread house. There isn't any change in these rooms is there? At the space event, we had giant eyes, meteor showers, recreations of space mountain, but here.. well.. we have gingerbread houses.. gingerbread houses and even more, gingerbread houses.

I need to get out more, I've only seen GPDOT's which isn't a modern gingerbread house, which I feel should be a clear winner anyway.

Actually, I've seen quite a few extremely clever gingerbread rooms. They're not all just four walls and a roof.

Though I agree with you that GPDOT deserves to win just about every design competition in VMK. He was certainly robbed in the Space Race event.

I agree, one of the rooms that won was just a nicely done room with track placed through it.

I've seen quite a few designs which aren't "houses" mine included....just visit some rooms when they are open.

It makes me laugh also.


About the disney thing, they are just riding on walts dreams right now, let them figure something out.
