if u have ever been scammed, u no wat it feels like. u want to hit the computer screen just to see if the other person feels it but u no they wont if u have any stories about being scammed post 'em here.



I was new to vmk and i met someone who was quiting and they gave me their fireworks and snowman magic. i really appreciated it because at the time i had nothing at all except an organ and a room. i all of a sudden decided i wanted a quest kiosk and thought it was tradeable. nobody ever told me it wasn't. so i met this guy, he put me on his friends list and told me as soon as is current quest was done, he would give me the quest kiosk but he told me to give my magic now. i did. he booted me and i was still on his friends list. later that day i found him in a pirates lobby and reported him but vmk didnt make as big of a deal about scams that they do now so i reported him about a week ago with my hopes up high that he will be banned.

3 people have attempted to scam me. when someone asked to "borrow" my seagull hat. i just closed the trading window, reported the person, and then left the room. 3 attempts, no conversions.

I might have had a bad trade when i began VMK and didn't know the value of most of the items but I have never been scammed.

I have not been scammed but I have been hacked, twice!

The first time I never gave out my pass or any details, but they somehow found them, and I lost 2 infernos, 4 stitches, 1 full sparrow, +10 fire windows, and more! Thanks to HOST_Lily and HOST_Phinny (Phinny gave me inferno last year in the Give-Away :P) I got them all back.

The second time it was by a friend who wanted revenge for not trading her my inferno. She wasn't taking my items but she was messing around with me, clearing my best rooms, deleting my bestest friends, and going around with scam attempts. That person doesn go on this site but due to forum rules I cannot post his/her name.

I was scammer recently of some junky quest items :D
