i made some polls and they haven't shown up yet its been like a week or two

Um.. the best thing is to pm a Mod, they are the ones who deal with that side of things. Maybe they aren't suitable for a G-rated site?

If the poll isn't suitable for the forums, it won't be posted. It could be an oversight or mistake by a moderator, but perhaps what you attempted to post was inappropriate or unsuitable for these forums. Best thing to do if you are unsure is to PM a Moderator or Administrator.

Why does it take so long for a survey that I post to show up? Another problem is that i would post some other threads one day, the next day it's not there.Why is that?

I don't why.. but sometimes it also happens to me. Like, when I posted a poll, it doesn't turn up anywhere. A few hours later, it's up.

First off, all polls are moderated. Mods go through them and approve or delete ones they find that aren't appropiate or completely off topic to these forums. We are a VMK and disney fansite. Talking about completely different topic in a poll is not the best way to get a poll posted. Any poll that could cause problems or arguments are normally deleted. If you create a poll thread that actually doesn't contain a poll, it may be deleted unless a mod feels it's a worthy topic of discussion still. These are just a few examples of the criteria that we have for allowing polls.

Most polls are approved within hours of their creation. If you have a question about why a poll never showed up, I'd suggest PMing a mod and include the topic of your poll to find out what might have been the problem. If you create a poll and it hasn't shown up after a day, it got deleted by one of the mods. I actually doubt most polls in queue last a but a few hours at max.
