It could be the magenta/pink flag but the blue judging flag does seem brighter than the blue flag in the picture, in my opinion.

I have participated in every competition since VMK opened, and the only thing that they really wore out of uniform fully was the Red Space Suit Outfit. So, I am not really sure what you are talking about.

I haven't heard anything yet about a single room being judged. For some reason I doubt they have started yet. If you notice- there were no specific times for judging, and its going on for about 2 weeks long. Just because judging may have started today doesnt mean many rooms will get judged- if any at all. Host's used to judge 2000+ rooms/rides within a weekend. I doubt that they will be using every day out to judge- but you never know!


Also- if they are judging in a "random" order then its most likely in the order that the registration came in. As they wouldnt be organized yet anyways.

Hmm .. people's room will be judge soon but you don't have to literally wait in there to make it open for others, just make sure you have your room open to everybody. so you don't have to wait and all. IT happen to me before in the space competition and left me a flag when I'm not in the room. Big surprise for me though .. :xrolleyes:

Someone was judged by Hula and Flamingo came in also. It seems as if when the hosts are doing there scheduled HOST_ Event is when they will be judging.

Yes, they are purple. Not like the pinkish ones seen in the HOST_ Ride-A-Thon a while back lol. Hope that helped.

From my understanding of the email that was sent...you do not need to be online for them to enter your room. I just dont have the time to sit in my room right now. im busy with holiday stuff and family, so i cant be on vmk either. well gl everyone! :xgrin:

Does it matter if your room is on friends only or not? I know that staff can enter any room it doesn't matter what you have it on but have any of you had your room judged while your room was friends only?

No, you don't need lots of people. You don't even have to be in your room. They judged me when I wasn't even online. As long as you're registered, they will come judge.

Because I registered my character just minutes before my wife's character. My room was judged yesterday (12/27), by HOST_Lily around 2PM VMK time and her room has still not been judged. Maybe each host is given a list in alaphabetical order because sometimes it seems like that's the order. Who knows, lol. :xrolleyes:

I was judged for last event after judging was officially closed and then at the 13th hour --who appeared--lily and hula came with a flag. I felt so special. I didnt win but felt special. hehe They are human and will get to everyone espcially since they have a spreadsheet or a more advanced technical way to find rooms, and not miss some. And they have alot of time left judging just started the other day.

My brother's (AceVolleyPro) room has been judged and mine has so far not been. I signed up a few minutes before him - so I'm beginning to believe that it may be random rather (or another method which I have not predicted) than who signed up first.

The times on the calendar are just the normal host games replaced with the words "Gingerbread Room Competition Judging". Staff have been on and off judging all today and all yesterday. They don't judge just durring the listed times. ;)

Uh i think slim's theory is more than right, judging has been continuing all day 24/7 (well VMK hours but you know what i mean). So it doesn't mean that the times in the events are right, there just telling you that there's going to be judging until Jan.13

I think we all just need to stop trying to guess the order in which they're judging. It seems as if every possible order (order of judging, alphabetical) seems to be mistaken in some way. Personally, I just think each judging host received a list of rooms to judges, and they are judging them in any order they choose. Everyone should just stop stressing and enjoy the competition. There are TWO WEEKS to be judged -- there is no reason to be worrying now. As long as you received the confirmation email, you're good.

My guess is that all the hosts are working A-M in a random order. Once all A-M's are done they will work on N-Z's. That is just my guess.. I'm sure it has some order to it that we aren't getting. lol

I too have not been judged yet and I am starting to think the order they are judging isn't the order you signed up. The reason for this is I have had two friends get judged so far both of whom I know signed up after me. One of them I know for a fact considering I'm the one that told them to sign up. Just hope it comes soon lol Don't wan't to have to sit and wait for another two weeks :D

is pirate new? and what day did you enter the contest on?I enter it the first day it started. I was afraid I was not going to be judge because my friends enter after I did and they got judge a day before I did, but as you can see I was judge. I don't know how they are judging the event, but I think if we got an E-mail about the rules when we enter they will judge you. My opinion.:wave2:

VMK Staff and HOSTs can get into your room no matter what your room status is (Myself or Everyone). They will get in easily! ;)

Should i be paniced?- i still haven't been judged, and i signed up in the first hour!!!!!

My print screen isn't working atm when It does i'll post a pic but ive been judged!

The HOST_'s divide the titles up into three groups. They only judge the people with whatever letters are in their group.

For Example:
HOST_Phinny judges people with the first letter in there title being: "A - H"
HOST_Lily can have "I - P"
HOST_Hula can have "Q - Z"

These aren't what they are judging but, they could be any letters.

Edit: Just logged in to look at my room, and my room title was changed to "Gingerbread House greenpixiegirl". Before, it had been "Gingerbread House green pixie" because of the 30 character limit. So, I guess Staff must have been looking at it, although I don't have a flag yet. Reason to hope?

On last check, neither my mom nor my dad have had their rooms judged, and their titles start with "D" and "G", respectively. So, I wouldn't panic just yet. :)

You don't need to panic, there's still a few weeks of judging to go.

You know, you don't have to be in your room, or even on for that matter to get judged. They can enter locked rooms, and enter rooms that have no people in them.

I don't know why everyone is all scared they won't get judged.
