Gold Star Reward Pin

What is this pin? How do you get it? I never saw it before until tonight. Does anyone know?

Its awarded by staff for doing a good deed I believe and I think the people who get it aren't allowed to say how or what they did to get it

When did they start with it?

Wow...I've never seen or heard of that before.
I wonder if the wiki knows anything about this?

Edit: The wiki does have some information about the pin. (What a surprise :P)

I've known about this pin for quite a while, but I've never exactly understood what someone might do to deserve it. I know it's for doing good deeds, but there are lots of people on VMK who do "good deeds". Is it just given out randomly to people who do good deeds, or what?

After looking at the message on the wiki about the pin, I think it might have been given out to CLs that helped hosts during Host games. I could be wrong though, I just think that that would make sense.

She was never a CL and she didn't tell me how she got it

I mean, that might have been just one of a few reasons the pins were given out, but I don't know so it might not be.

It was given to people that staff saw doing good deeds. The people that get one are not supposed to tell how they got it. Someone who had it told me they didn't know staff was watching (there wasnt staff in room).

I don't really understand what kinds of good deeds can be on a computer game.

Sure you can do good deeds, you can help guests get to know the game, help someone get some credits, and maybe even help someone see what its like to have a friend..

i always help guest but sadly staff are never there when i do my deeds:( i think staff should desguise as guests and like say someone is mean they get 1hour ban and somone is nice they get a reward pin or something:)

You know, things that if everyone did, it would make VMK a nicer game to play.

Staff have a better disguise than pretending to be guests. They are invisable. Staff are always watching. They can see you, but you can't see them. They probably saw you helping guests, but you just need to be really lucky to earn that pin.

This has been a topic discussed about for soo long. No one really knows how to get it unless you recieve the pin yourself.

It has been reported that this pin was received by players when a player was reported for doing something good. There may have been alternative ways of getting this, or this could have formed out of a rumor, but this is the most said way of getting this pin. Nobody to our knowledge has received this pin for a while, so this pin may very well be retired.

Well staff are always watching you, even if they are not in the room. For instance the second after someone said where they lived their was a message to everyone in the room not the give out personal info blah blah blah. So I would think they could still give them to you even if their not in the room. How could they tell if you are doing a good deed if ten kids are asking them questions? Most likely if they need help they will ask the staff or the staff wont even notice it. Dont you love that the world is unfair?

Here is the listing in our wiki:

I happen to have one as well. It is given by staff members who see that you are going above and beyond to help people in the game. I know that many do this all the time, the trick, sadly, is that a staff member needs to see it.
