Everyone has an enemy in VMK, right? Well, I was thinking it would be interesting to meet up VMK players in real, and they would talk for a while, then at the end they would find out their titles. I think it would be funny to see how many people ended up talking and liking each other, then at the end find out they were enemies in VMK. I bet a lot of people would stop being enemies in VMK.

This has happened me before! I was on a bus going back to my hotel in WDW when me and another kid started talking about vmk. About 1 week after i get home, I am in one of my trade rooms and some person named AceIpodSkater comes up to me and says didnt i meat you on the bus? I was like yea, wow. Crazy stuff.

I just don't talk about vmk in public or with my real life friends...

Thought about this and figured that it would be cool for one of the parks to have a few days dedicated to VMK. Many players could meet producers of the game and each other in a designated area of the park.

However, I doubt that this would ever happen, due to VMK's not wanting you to meet other players in real life. In real life you could give much more personal information out than in VMK, and without risk of being banned. That could lead to some more serious consequences.

I just don't talk about vmk in public or with my real life friends...

I don't think setting up meetings would be the greatest thing. Its not at all safe. The story would end up on the Early Show or the news and probably could do some damage to VMK

I've met a few VMK players at VMK Central and gave them my username.
The people I gave my username were these 9 year old twins (they were cute) and this 15 year old boy. We never found eachother in VMK :l

Oh and some of the girls at my school play VMK, too! One day I wore a VMK pin to school and they said, "Oh, you play VMK?"

Well I wouldn't mind meeting the players...but it'd be kinda weird/scary, lol. I wouldn't come alone :l I'd bring my dad or something, lol..

The only VMK Player I know is my cousin. xD But, I do think that would be kinda funny....

lol, I have met themist (on here) who is a legendary trader, and he referred me to this site. He is a bit...different than you would think...lol (But he is still cool!)

I have probably met over 20 VMK Players in the parks on my visits. Either by arrangement or randomly meeting. I know one day I was wearing my VMKf shirt (with name on) and someone was sat opposite me on the Jungle Cruise.. yeah he PM'ed me the next day. LOL

I think it would be GREAT to have a VMK meet. POTCO has meets don't they? So I don't see why VMK should be any different. Both my parents play VMK, and you're inside Disney (!!) so I don't think there would be much chance of me getting attacked by someone. Remember if you do, always bring someone older than you, and do it in a public place. It can sometimes not be safe, but you're only here once, and in that once, MY goal is to meet as many new people as possible. :)

I can't say for certain whether or not he is the actor who plays Jess on "Bridge to Terabithia", but I don't believe that staff would give him any other special treatment than any other players, even if he had starred in a Disney movie.

About 70% of the people I saw in VMK Central at WDW were adults, lol, they were nice though. Anyways, it would be a cool idea, but since not that many people know about VMK, it would get minimal attention, a waste on Disney's money lol!

I don't have friends because I like Disney and I was made fun of so much, I have to be homeschooled now until we move to Canada.

On my last trip to WDW, I actually got to meet one of my friends from VMK.

I had decided to stop by VMK Central one last time before they shut it down and make a couple new characters and to log on and tell to see if anyone from my friend list was on so I could 'rub it in' that I was at WDW and they weren't. I know kind of mean but not really. They do it to me too (you know who you are...)! LOL!

Anyways, while I was standing at the computer, a person walked up behind me and said "Excuse me, but what is your VMK name?" I told her who I was on VMK and she said "I know you! I am ***************!" I was kind of skeptical at first but as we talked, she was talking about friends that we both have and things we had done together in game. It was totally out of the blue and unexpected but also really nice! It was also fun for us to be able to put a "real life" face with a VMK face!

It was so cool! She and her family are really nice people (just as you would expect from VMK fans...)! We talked for about 20 minutes or so until I had to meet the other people that I was there with.

This happened to me. i met a kid in wdw who sat next to me with a vmk quest card in his hand along with me.
we started talking about vmk throughout the ride and filling out answers togother and then at the end he told me his vmk title- Believe it or not, he was one of my friends on my list.
Pretty cool meeting someone like that- never imagined how he would look :)

ive met a few people from VMK... Its just kids who are noobish that i saw... everyone only had newbie pins and clothes and furniture!!! I saw them in VMK central in WDW

It was really cool though, but then kinda akward when we said our vmk names- I had no idea he would look like that!
but in the end it was a lot of fun, we hung out for a while and did some quests together

If anywhere to set it up, try WDW. They won't let people in with weapons, and if they see you getting kidnapped, they'll obviously stop it.

I also have pictures of some of my best friends from VMK. We send Christmas cards to each other and there is one friend that I send pressed pennies to and she does the same bc we both collect them! :wave2:

Tell you the truth, I met my bestfriend on VMK.
We started talking on VMKF, and than on yahoo messanger, and she found out she was moving in my town! So we actually ended up meeting. :D
We met at a mall in the food court, it was kind of funny because we acted as if we knew each other forever. Nothing was strange between us.

Truthfully, you can't actually have a virtual enemy that you really don't know anything about. You can dislike them or get angry at them, but not really arch-enemies. The only exception would be if they scammed you.

It would be so cool to meet people from VMK!
But one thing i like about the internet is that people dont judgde you by how you look (ok. i'm not THAT ugly ;)). But it would still be cool.

I met two people at VMK Central at the same time. One of them's an admin here.

Personally I think it would be difficult, when you get on your pirate ship and start blowing each other up, it gets expensive to keep getting a new ship every round

No offense but I don't really care if I meet you guys. I can't assume if your creeps or not, it is so easy to lie. Plus, even if your not a creep, you could still just be weird and not the type of person I would hang out with. The only person I've meet here that seems like some one I would hang out with is Flea but I can't assume anything.

This isn't a totally safe idea, but it sounds quite fun actually! Like everyone said above, if the person wasn't a stalker - then you're mainly okay.

I know some people in real life who play VMK, because they are my best friends! Like some people in my class will hear me and my friends talking quietly about VMK, and they'll say, "Oh? Virtual Magic Kingdom, right? I play that too! It's totally awesome!"

I often wear one of my VMK shirts to Disneyland to see whether anybody would ask who I was, but so far the only one to say anything about it was Push.
