Okay...

I have read a couple of threads here, and would like to make a comment about something that I have seen a good deal of.

People who make comments like "so and so's rooms are only for the people on their friends list. They're playing favorites." need to remember a logistical fact about VMK.

Rooms don't always show on the "Popular Guest Room" list until they are almost or completely full. Also, people who are on someone's friends list are OBVIOUSLY going to end up in that room first, because they see that the person is in their room. People who aren't on someone's friends list aren't even going to know that the room exists or is open until it shows on the "Popular Guest Room" list until...it's almost or completely full.

For the people who get complaints and get accused of playing favorites, I am sorry...it's unfair that you get told that, and I TOTALLY feel your pain. The reason I decided to write this is because someone accused TikiT of playing favorites. I am not on his friends list, nor am I interested in being his friend (not saying that in a hateful way), but it just irks me that some players don't really stop to think about things before they get all heated about them.

I'm sure there are many of you who have been in-game since the "Beta" days, who have completely full friends lists, who know people who can't always get into your rooms because they are full sometimes and can't get on your friends list (because it's full). Hopefully, those people are able to realize the fact that as long as VMK continues to place such a low limit on the number of people that can be in a Guest room, there are always going to be people who can't get into someone's room at some point.

Wow! If people are getting upset over how someone runs their virtual rooms they really need a reality check.

yup, I fully understand that. I have a couple of rooms that I have made exclusively for my friends mainly because in real life I give only the best to my friends verses someone I barely know. the two rooms are the most expensive rooms I have made thus far and have way more attractions than the others, with the exception of my christmas rooms which everyone can access (not on christmas though) because of the season. I think one should have a mix of everyone and friends rooms though just to make the balance you might say. I have a storage room that is set to myself only because I don't want people coming in and saying 'want to trade for that!?' stored items are stuff i am saving for later when the occasion arises when vmk decides to catch me off guard and releases a room that I had the stuff for but traded, oops! On your point I fully agree. it is not favorites, it is just using liberty for what you want that room for. And yes with a limit of 15, it is kinda hard to invite all of vmk into your room.

I totally agree with this, favorites smavorites. Nobody has favorites because you don't actually know them ;) TikiT randomly accepts people on his list. My account Alli-Rae is friends with him and I saw him one day and randomly requested him without even saying a word. Same with sillysyl. she accepted me and i follow her everywhere LOL.

I'm not really feeling that there's a big issue here...I mean, I've been on since beta and my friends list is full and there's really nobody that I would want on it now other than <a certain person>. I've never had a big issue about getting into rooms and stuff, and definitely never had people mad at me because they can't get into my room.
