ok I have had it with the 3 leaderboard people who have been there forever, the leaderboard people should be changed every few months. Just so everyone can get their picture on the homepage of the arcade.

Dislike it, if you want to be up there, and you cant? Sorry, it's just an arcade. Time will pass when someone is better than you. It doesn't matter, they just play the games, and get 1st place. You shouldn't care, it's fine. Plus, what is the reward in beating the games and not getting your picture on the Arcade Home Page? Hmm? Just give people like me with 0 highscores to get on the Home Page? Nope, no reason! It's insane!

i like this idea. i don't think it's all that fair how it's always them. they always get these insane scores that are impossible to beat and i'm sick of it.

I actually think they do reset the scores every few months but not positive about that.

They do, but I think we should do "if you win a marquee name (arcade champs) you can't win it again."

I would be willing to "sit out" a round or two and allow others to get scrolling titles and high scores but I don't want to give up my green scrolling title. I do have a solution which I propose to all here for your input. If the winners of more than three rounds of arcade would be willing to "sit out" a round or two and allow others to compete fairly for the titles, they should be entitled to emeritus status arcade winner and have permanent scrolling green titles. The new winners who are not multi-time winners can get a lighter color green or perhaps another color scrolling title. The only hard and fast rule is that the title is scrolling green forever and they must "sit out" at least some number of rounds, say a max of 2. I would be willing if all of you are OK with that idea and the MODS are too. A response from the only other person who would qualify, Rustycopperpenny, might help start the ball rolling so to speak. What is your opinion?

They do delete the scores and start over every few months. Everyone has a chance to get listed on the top. The three leaders have worked hard to be there, continue to work hard to stay there, and deserve to stay there until someone beats them.

Yes, true. Everyone has a chance, maybe you aren't good. Then the arcade isn't for you if you dont enjoy it, if you only care for the scrolling title.. sad. I dont care, I like the games, I could give a hoot over the titles. IDC about them though.

Perhaps you chose poorly when you said sad? Working hard to achieve a goal and winning a prize(trophy) is a time honored tradition. Those who achieve and obtain trophies usually enjoy them and don't like to give them up. Perhaps you have never had the honor of getting a trophy and don't understand why giving it back isn't a good thing. Yes, perhaps you are correct, sad is the word I would use to describe that empty feeling also. As for me, if anyone has any constructive suggestions I am willing to discuss them to make everyone happy.

i've played several of the games many times. i play to the best that i can, but my scores never come close to what the leaders get. i do see their scores as a challenge to beat, but they never seem to be attainable. I actually like Mr.GreenGene's idea, I don't want them to completely lose what they deservedly earned. i don't know, i may not be making any sense. I congratulate Mr.GreenGene and the others on their scores, how do you get such high scores?! i kid, i kid.

Apparently, you are meaning highscore champs when you say leaderboard, since Amberrocks is currently top on the leaderboard, and Rustycopperpenny is 5th (Eeyore'sfamily is 4th.) I'm curious to know how you came to the conclusion that the 3 current high scorers have the longest streak. Scores were reset Sept. 29, when the top 3 were Rusty, Mr.Green, and Amberrocks. Before that, Aurorarosesb was in the top 3. (June 29 was that reset.) Astromarc was in the top 3 on the Apr. 7 reset. Others do have a chance, but it doesn't come quickly or easily. I see you're currently 68th on the leaderboard, and have a few top ten scores. Keep working at it, and you may someday be on the front page.

It would be a very holllow victory if the only way I could be in the top 3 was to have the best players sit out. Keep things based on performance, as it currently is. (I hope to be in the top, eventually. Summer will be back, and I'll have the time to devote to it.)

I don't think anyone should have to sit out because people can't obtain what others worked so hard for.

I've earned my place for my top score in Adidas Climacool and if someone can beat me, then congrats to them. I hope to one day have a cool scrolling green username too, and I play with that hope in mind.

Can someone help, my username has been banned from the arcade. I don't know if someone thought i was cheating because i got a lot of high scores but i'm not. i'm well known on the toontown arcade (i've been champ there for a couple of years) so thought i'd see how i'd do on here. can someone post a link for who i need to pm?

I hope I have livened up the arcade. I have become King of the Arcade in just 24 hours after joining. No doubt some of my scores will be beaten but there are still ots of games where I plan to get the high score. Still it must have shaken things up! ;)

I think that's a great idea! The scrolling names give me a headache because I can't click on it,but it's cool.

I like the idea. I mean, seriously, how do these people do it? They've been like dominating the arcade for months. Pretty soon They are gonna have all of the arcade games with their names on them. There should be some new champions out there that are on the leaderboard. After all, Who's gonna be able to beat them?

I love this idea alot, because I do find that the same people over and over again get the highscores. I also respect you alot because you willing to give you the arcade to let others have a chance to get a sweet scrolly green title.

I'm kind of in-between - I'm almost on the board, but not quite there. I think it's fun competition. I wonder about "cheating" on some games, but only for a second because I'm able to get really high scores on some games and I don't cheat. So, maybe people think the high scores I get are impossible, but it just happens to be games I'm good at. I like the arcade the way it is, but I'd suggest score resets every month so there are monthly leaders.

Also, if you happen to play when scores have just been reset, you can sweep the arcade, "print screen" and have a memory of being there even if it's just an hour or two LOL.

Certainly, I started playing the arcade beginning of last season.
Yes I did win, Which I felt exremtely lucky, I just happened to have alot of luck and practice alot! ;)

I practiced until I got the scores, That's exactly how my friend fredghostmaster told me he did, Hopefully I'll keep getting better and better! :balloon:
Someday i'll sit out because I need some time away from the computer, as you can see I usually play average 1-3 games a day, since im busy now.
