Hi all,

I have been wondering about this for quite sometime now. I know VMK has been very sure to remind us all lately to only "Call for Help" in an emergency. Sometimes, I simply wish to report someone, but it is not necessarily an emergency. One example: As we all know or should know, VMK has finally made taken against the VMK Values. Now if I were to see two people pretending to be a couple, should I report this. Most times I just remind someone that what they are doing is now against the VMK rules, but they just dismiss me. I don't know if this situation is necessarily an emergency, but should I report them or should I just let them break the rules? What constitutes an emergency?

that rule bugs me.
they ask you to report in an emergency. there ARE no emergencies in a VIRTUAL game! if someone is cursing it's not an emergency, even though it's against values so when you report, all they do is warn you and press ignore >_<

Taken is not against the values. It is not recomended, but you're allowed to have a special friend you do everything with.

EDIT: Bird beat me to it. There's no such thing as an emergancy in a virtual game.

I TOTOALLY agree with you. THERE ARE NO EMERGERNCIES in a Virutal game. That makes no sense. It's like saying OMG CALL 911 SOMEONE SAID A BAD THING! LOL! But anyways there is my opinion.

Repeating what you all said, there are no emergencies in an online game. I'm gonna write to them about that.

I only report those who are telling others that they are staff or if they are talking in a way that would make your mother blush; in other words, more than a curse word or two....and no, 'shut up' is not considered cursing.

I would say an emergency is if someone is like seriously harassing someone in an "adult" way or an extremely violent way..

I think by emergency VMK means if someone was giving out there school, where they live, etc. Serious things like that that could end up hurting someone.

And another thing, VMK NEVER SAID taken wasn't allowed, they just banned all the " boy meet girl " (or vice versa) rooms.

what you put is totally wrong. not all guests are terrible. one of my good friends on VMK is a just starting VMK player and she's completely nice.

So, if I was the necest guy ever, got my name changed and had to be a guest, I would all the sudden be mean?

Obviously someone would live near their school. then, they'd know what city they live in, especially their area.

I would like to note that "Taken" is not against the VMK Values. Although, one may only go as far as "hugs" with the taken game.

An Emergency is usually considered as someone giving out personal info.
