As I have seen many people asking how to download fonts from dafont, instead of telling all this to them via PM or post, I thought I would make a guide. In this guide you will find out how to download fonts from dafont.com. This guide is mainly for Vista and XP, because I have not yet tried on a Macintosh System.
Walkthrough to downloading fonts from dafont
Find your font you want from dafont, and then click on it. Select "download". Then when the downloading window pops up click the "save" button, and then you should see this: http://xs222.******/xs222/07500/guide.jpg (http://******) Just click the save button again on the second window, it should save your file. Then click the "run" button. Once it has downloaded, click the start button on your computer screen. Select the "My Documents" or "Documents" option. Once the documents window has loaded, you should see this(after seeing that screen, double click on the file that has the name of the font you downloaded to unzip it.): http://xs222.******/xs222/07500/guide794ui59.jpg (http://******) You should see this: http://xs222.******/xs222/07500/guide6346.jpg (http://******) As you can see, the "Extract all files" button. Click that, then you should see another window with a button that says "Browse" to the right. Click that, and select the folder that is of your program like Photoshop/Paintshop/Gimp/etc. Then, you should see a folder that says "fonts". Select to place them there, and then select OK on that window about where to move all the extracted files to. Open up the program you use, and the fonts should be there in that program. If not, then tell me what you did and I will tell you if you did anything wrong. I used a font I already had, so I am not 100% sure this works. But I do know it worked for me a few times before, with fonts I dont already have. There is another way, but this is the way that came to mind.
Hope I helped.
