Yes, I believe we are.

As Centurey said, we are allowed to do mules. However, yavn never said a number regarding how many mules are acceptable. If I remember correctly, he said it is okay to have mules, as long as you play the mule accounts regularly.

The only example I remember him talking about was things like you have 2 characters, a boy and a girl type thing. The other thing was that they were played with regularly.
What about families who all share the same IP or they're all using the same email address because a parent made several for their children? That could look like a bunch of mules for one person when in fact they're all for different people. They are making accomodations for things like that while looking for people who are simply abusing the whole system.
I don't think it's a problem to have more than one but I think the idea is not to just go making characters simply to get more credits and quest items simply for trading and such thus abusing the system.

I find it funny that VMK deletes accounts even in a 3 month stand still. Yet agrees to let people have 50 mule charcters. What logic is that?

He said that it was okay to have mules but not to have over 50. I would only have a couple, anywhere close to 50 is way too much. Plus, memorizing all those passwords and usernames is just silly and a waste of time...

VMK_Sunny came to my friend's room and told us about it. She said it wasn't allowed and said to follow VMK Values. Using mules is not bad for the VMK Values, as long as you don't cheat or hack.

3. Mules

A Mule is an account that is created and used just once or twice to gain items or credits. While it's OK to have a few different accounts/characters to play with, there are some players who have hundreds of characters, and rarely use them. If you are a player that has lots of Mules (more than 50) beware, we're now cracking down on these players and will start banning accounts.

This info is more than a year old though. I have seen evidence of players being deleted earlier than the 6 month rule. Please beware, if you do not use an account rather regularly, it may be deleted earlier than the 6 months.
