I was wondering if anybody had this problem before? My account is completely gone, as in without a trace. I have no clue what happened. The last time I played VMK was a few days ago, and it worked fine. I tried to log in and it won't log me in. I can't even use "Contact Us" because it won't even recognize my user name or password.

It's not something on my settings because I tried creating a new player and it would let me. But what happened to my account?! I can't even THINK about losing my player, I had a Day 1 badge and all this other stuff I can never ever get back.

Please, somebody say they can help me!! Thanks in advance:xsmiley:

A start: create your "disney" account again, not on vmk.. after you get that, try contact us.
It's my opinion, I don't know if that's going to work.

I used Contact Us as a parent, explaning how I couldn't log in because something is wrong with my account.

My brother said I was still on his friend list, so hopefully that is a good sign. I can't beleive this is happening, I had a Day 1 Badge, inferno, Best Game Room pin, and so many quest items when I went to the parks. I would be very upset if I had to start from scratch.

Hmm....This is interesting. I think that VMK's system is malfunctioning for you?

I'm still holding hope since I'm still on my brother's friend list, and since I was able to get just a few short days ago. Thanks for all your help so far, I'll try everything I can :)

i had this happen to me. through my email, i had deleted my account by mistake. i had to start over. hopefully u didnt make the same mistake i did

Have you tried clearing your internet files and cookies?

The same thing happened to me, On 11/4/07, I entered some Pirate Q codes, then i came back a few hours later, and i couldn't log in, I couldn't do Contact Us either.. My Friend had a teleporter to my room, she found me, gave me the teleporter and my room was still there with everything in it, other friends i found said that It said i was still friends with them.

If VMK deleted your character then you would be asked to create a new one. What is the error you are getting, perhaps someone changed your password. Have you tried signing into any other Disney sites?

I can't even say what error message I am getting, because I'm not getting one! When I try to enter VMK, it just takes me back to the login screen. I can't even log in to the Disney homepage, it says my account doesn't exist!

VMK told me to make sure I am putting the right information in and to tell them exactly what the error message is. I'm not getting an error message, it simply won't let me log in!

Thanks for all your help so far, I'll try everything I can :) this could have been the problem of a hacker, this is a very weird thing to happen. this has never happened to me. try making a new account with vmk then going to 'contact us' i hope this works out for you and that thing about the hacker, it might just be a hacker hacking into youre account. im sorry for you hope i could help.

VMK is just deleting accounts to make room for new players. Have you been logged off for more than six months?

Well there is a slight bit of good news. Today, I could log into the VMK.com homepage and see my pins and everything. I could not do this yesterday, and at least it proves my account is still there.

I still for whatever reason can't log into VMK though. It's odd that I can log into the VMK.com page but using the same information on the VMK screen won't let me log in. Sheesh!!

This is very interesting. I would not know the sorce of the problem, because you were able to log on just a couple of days ago.

Did you reformat your computer by any chance? By reformat I mean delete files that might have contained your vmk account? Even though the game is online, if you delete the files allowing you to get to your account...well..you don't have access to it anymore. You will still appear on your friends lists, but you're virtually locked out of your account.

This happened to me a couple of month ago. Try logging in but instead of using your log in and then ending it with .com, do not put .com onto your log. I did that and found it work.

I guess I have to give up on this. NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING works. VMK can't help because they say they can't give me any account information unless I'm IN that account and ask -- but HELLO? That's what the problem is, my account won't work! Grr!!

I still don't get it. Although I may have found new information on this. My little sister tried to send in a video for Disney's "Happy U Year" thing on the Disney Channel, but she could NOT get ANY account to work. We even made a new one from scratch and it simply refused to let us login. It seems the issue is that, for whatever reason, my computer just won't let me log into ANY Disney website.

I had a similar problem awhile back. Turned out it was the router. Unplug your router connection and wait ten seconds. Plug back in and it should work. Good luck to you. Angel Fancy :xsmiley:

I had this too. If you have an e-mail from Disney, reply saying,"Can you please reactivate my account?"
Your account should be reactivated in 1 - 3 days.

I tried to create a new player with my original name just to see if it would say "this name has been taken already" but uh.. it let me register with my old name and even let me make a new character.

This CAN'T be good...

The mystery is SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparantly, VMK changed my login information without telling me. My login name, which was previously my email adress, somehow changed to have my name. So, I SHOULD have been enterting my NAME instead of my email address into the form.

I have no idea why it changed and why they never told me, but WHO CARES?! I'M IN and ALL MY STUFF IS THERE!!

I have been on VMK since day one. For some reason when I logged in as usual it would not let me. I realized I had updated my account on WDW to my new e-mail address. I used this and it would log me in but made me create an character. I chanded the user name on WDW back to the old e-mail address and could log in to VMK but still made me create a new character. I am using my old username and passwor that i have always used and no luck. I lost everything! I'm so upset. VMK staff has been no help. Bummer!!!!!!!

When was the last time you logged into VMK? Bc a while back they started deleting characters that have not been on in 6months.

I log in everyday. For some reason on Monday 3/3/8 it would not let me log in. Then when I finally loged on it made me set up a new character. I wanted to cry I have so much stuff that I lost form all my in park quests etc.. I keep using the contact us link on VMK and they just reply whith general new character set up instructions. It's as if no one is looking up my old Character MissT and realizing that I am gone. The best part is I am using the same username I set up initially and password but i ma a new charcter. I am beside myself!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your stuff should'nt be gone, I changed my name through that screen and had all my stuff, maybe VMK is reseting stuff.

Everything is gone, had to make new character name and I have nothing! If I enter my user name and password under existing players this should not have happened.
