Ive gotten that before, I was making a crate storage room cause I had like over 200 and I had to go to a 2nd room. I also had a room once at the very top of the Popular Guest Room List, where I would fill my room up with chairs and stuff and stack things on top of other things and let people sit anywhere, then I would clear the room and they would all fall down, but it took a while to fill the room up. ;)

My friends have gotten it before, but I've never built a room with so many items.

I have had this happen when building large things with lots of crates. Try replacing crates with pirate walls, alice walls, or mansion tables underneath where they don't show.

I believe the maxmium amount of items in a room varys. One time, I had the maxmium amount of items filled to the brim, so I took out one or two large items and replaced them with smaller items, which I could have more of. So, I guess the limit varys on and off ;D

Are there crates filling behind those walls?

If so, there looks to be well over 200 plus any other stuff in the room. That would do it.

I hit 450 orange crates in the dark room and got the same.

I also had a room with the blue and orange water starts in the dark room, and had the Everest room filled with tables ice and track for a ride, and also had ice stored in Maleficent's room to get the same message for all three rooms

I've gotten that before, so it's normal.

I believe this is common. Just remove some of those TONS of walls. ;)

I believe they've inserted a maximum amount of storage inside guest rooms just recently, it's not an exploit.

I hit a room maximum in the Everest room within a week of it coming out, so it has been out for a while.

There is a maxium amount of items that can be inserted into a room. If you look on wiki you can see the amount of items (size) each room will hold. Hope this helps everyone. :xgrin:

I believe that those are referring to the amount of spaces that are located within the room rather than objects it can contain. If you click on the name of the room it allows you to see how those spaces are calculated (regular space(s), obstructed space(s), exit/entrance space(s), exit space(s)).

Yeah, that is normal. If you put a whole bunch of items in your room, eventually there will be too much stuff. I don't know why they have to have the limit though...

I think the limit has to do with the x/y/z coordinates of the room same reason the maximum height is 8 objects high. Though it could be because number of layers available since many of the items require more than on layer per object. This is due more from the program being used used than anything else. There are limitations to most everything. :)

Oh, now that makes sense...you're probably right.

What if in beta, you made a huge room that would nowadays be above the room limit. What would happen? Would you not be able to enter the room, or would the room still be the same, but you couldn't add anything else to it?

For those wondering when the limit was introduced, I believe it was shortly after New Years 2006 (12/31/06). I had built a huge room, with many items well over the room limited just before the new year. Later on when I went to add to it, I could not, because it was over the limit.

Just contributing to the knowledge being shared here :).

Just to add a bit more, there seem to be different limits based on different items. Rugs seem to take more of the available space.

I was only able to get about 180 2x2 Alice rugs in a Space Mountain room, but over 500 gingerbread blocks in the same type of room. I didn't hit the end on the gingerbread blocks, but did on the rugs. Granted blocks take a 1x1 space and the rugs take a 2x2 space. If it was multiplied out per square, the rugs are using 720 "spots" while the blocks took over 500 (again it was not full with the blocks).

Dark rooms are very big, but still hold fewer items (450 single space items - orange crates/water ride starts were my limit items in this room - 2 different rooms)

I would be interest to see someone fill rooms with stackable items, rugs, and pirate walls to see what the difference is on how many objects can fit in each room.

It would be great if somebody could organize this sort of information for the Wiki.
