We're ending 2007 with another grand contest and with a new chance to win a Signature/PM subscription (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/payments.php). This time we're looking for festive holiday guest rooms decorated by you! Take a screenshot of your VMK holiday room and post it in this thread to enter the competition.

Moderators will be picking the top fifteen entries from this thread and putting them into a final poll where YOU get to vote on the winners! This time around, we're going to have 4 winners. All winners will receive the Signature/PM subscription. This is the Winter Wonderland of Treats. No, actually it's my home. A little cottage with a great view of Cinderella's Castle in the distance. Not everyone is, take a look at the first few pages...there are some that have nothing to do with gingerbread houses.

Well want else is everyone going to make? VMK release Gingerbread items. So everyone wanted to use the pieces. I think what you said is a little rude and will hurt some peoples feelings. People put a lot of work into their rooms and you are discrediting them. I think all the rooms show great creativity and I like all the gingerbread homes. Keep up the good work people! They look really good! :xgrin:

I agree, there was quiet a few gingerbread house "layouts." Most are original though, which is what the judges (mods/admins) are looking for. Keep that in mind. ;)

It's really just a matter of taste. Most participants are also trying to work their design into a theme. Some have lots of gingerbread, some a mixture of everything, and others have no gingerbread at all. As long as it works into their design concept and the room serves its intended function, what does it matter? Personally I commend everyone who has made the effort to design something to share with others. We can all enjoy the creativity and planning involved in their ability to bring their idea to reality. Well done! everyone.

Everyone put a splash of their own personality and creativeness in their rooms, and for you to say that could hurt someone's feelings. Nice job everyone!

Like i said before my post is on pg 1 (and it is first picture posted on thread Go Me!! lol)and my picture is not a ginger bread house yes i admit it does have pieces but that throws it into more festive part. I love everyones Creative ideas and gl to all
