It has come to my attention that it seems that using bans to stop the owners who use their game room as a scam isn't working anymore. It seems the owners think that they don't have to award the prize they say they will cause if they get banned they still get to keep the stuff. Yes they wont get to play vmk for a while but they wont lose thier stuff and that is what seems to matter more. What can we do to stop this? Maybe we can get staff to ban then yet still take the item mentioned as prize out of the banned owners and award to the winner anyway that way when the owner gets back on vmk they lost the item. What do you think?

1. How is this a 'scam'? Are you paying to play a game bc if you are, they are not allowed to charge. If they are not charging, then it isn't really a scam. It is just a cheap and low way to get people into their rooms and make them popular. When is everyone going to listen to the saying of "If it sounds too good to be true, then there is probably something wrong".
2. I believe I read in another thread awhile back from VMK saying that even though a player 'advertises' a prize in a game, they are under no obligation to award that prize. I will be looking for this thread and will post it if and when I find it.

it is more of the fact that these people are getting a way with it.This is just a suggestion of trying to resolve this. And everytime i have been in a game room playing and staff has come in i have seen them say " owner you have to award the prize that you are saying you are going to give." but this is just what i have seen.

It's not the staff's fault.
They couldn't possibly go to every single game room to see if its a scam.
It's the players' fault. They should now by now, that pay to play rooms in VMK are not safe.
The owners should get a lifetime ban the second offense they make.

it isn't about paying to play, this is more about making the owner pay for lying to the guests and pretty much being the so-called "bullies" of vmk. Like I said the owners don't care that they get banned cause they know nothing will happen to thier stuff. I want to teach the owner a lesson that getting banned because you didn't award the prize doesn't mean you will still have the prize when you ban ends

I am also seeing a lot of room titles like "gold ears", "ears", "magic" after either cute or boot or falling chairs. Then in the description there is an after thought that if you win you don't get what is in the title. So-is the title just to get people into the room to play? IF that is the case then is a "bait and tackle" ploy that is used by salespeople to get clients into their stores. They advertise for something hot or expensive, and then when the customers come in they give them something else. This is a very bad practice used and I am afraid that these players who use this tactic will harbor some very bad habits when they grow up. It is obvious that these people are just kids and want the attention.
