I've seen several people now asking for help on how to install a font, or even multiple fonts. So, I'm going to just make a guide of how to install them on Windows. The reason I'm only doing Windows, is because I don't really know that much about Mac, compared to Windows.
Mmk..
First, you've gotta get the files downloaded from the site, or other physical location of them. Most fonts come in a .zip folder, so you'll have to extract the files in that to install them.
Then, you need to open up the folder, and verify that there is a .ttf or .fot file in that folder. Once you've found it/them select them (Click, for one, CTRL+Click for more), and COPY them to Local Disk (C: ) > WINDOWS > Fonts.
Once your computer has copied them there, the wizard will install them, and you can now use them in almost any application that allows you to type.
FOR WINDOWS VISTA
Installing fonts on Windows Vista is a lot easier than that of XP. You've still got to get the fonts on your computer, or on a locally attached drive. (That's the hardest part :P)
After you've got them, locally, locate the folder that they are located in, and select the .fot and/or .ttf files. Right Click one of them. Then hit Install. Windows will take care of the rest.
Feel free to ask me any questions. :D
