Hello, I would just like to bring it to everyones attention that
talking about sites not owned by Disney is NOT allowed!!

This includes that talking about THIS site is not allowed to be discussed in VMK.
Therefore, if you see someone you know, don't say "Check your PMs on for,um".
If it's that urgent, you come on the chat on the homepage to see if they are there, if not, you send them a PM.

The reason I have posted this is because I get it every day, people from this site coming to me and saying "Hi! I know you from VMK for.umm!". I was banned from VMK for one month, for people talking about this site in my room. They banned the whole room.

Thanks for reading, and unless you want a ban, then keep quiet about sites not owned by Disney in VMK!!

Fortunetly, me and my friends have our own "language" but we're still careful; If we need to talk to each other, we come here and see if that person's online.

Thanks for posting this stitch. I know I get this a lot on vmk. Enphasies on the lot part. It's always bothered me. I'm happy to see you, but just send me a pm saying 'hey saw you in thr game, want to be friends?'. Then, I won't get annoyed, we won't get banned, and look at that, I have a new friend! I think we all can use a reminder about this everyone now and then just to have it locked in our memory! :)

Ugg this is a pet peeve of mine, I have people all the time doing the same to me, if its my room I boot if not I try to remember to leave. They may not care if they get banned but I care very much if I get banned. Even those that use different "words" to talk about a certain site, staff is not stupid, I'm sure they know all the ways around that people use.

No and No. That is what StitchMad is trying to say, you can get banned for mentioning this website or any other VMK fansite. Restrict any talk to a disney site - it usually has the word Disney in the url (this doesn't), eg Disney.com.

If you're wanting to communicate with someone, and tell them to check their PM's on forums, why don't you say

"Stitch, :Pm". This way it looks like your say hello, but still asking them to check their PM's.. just an idea if you can't wait.

PLEASE do not talk about ANY site which is not owned by Disney. This includes eBay, ignoring how it is in the dictionary. Don't take advantage, or it could quickly turn into a disadvantage of a ban. :)

I'd like to prove a point to somebody whos keeps coming in the room talking about VMK Forums trying to get us banned. He thinks you cant get banned for talking about it therefore he continues to talk about it and we all just leave.

Yes you can. Yavn has said tons of times that talking about outside sites is not safe. So, if you see someone talking about fansites or stuff like that, leave the room!

I can't report him...Contact Us doesn't work. Yet another reason why I'm being more careful.

You can say eBay because of the Dreams Promotion that went on last year. However, the VMK Staff get mad when people say something like "I bought VMK items off eBay." I remember a story of someone having this in their signature and the VMK Staff told them to change it. They said, "it's the truth" and the staff ended up banning him for the person not changing their signature.

Talk about those as much as you like. Including Disney movie rewards. I would be reluctant to talk about eBay. We all know they did a promotion with them, but they have never really been up to scratch on their knowledge of VMK History have they?

It might be a good idea to say something to your friends in VMK, so if you wanted to tell them to check their PM box, you could say ":Pm". We can say pm in VMK, but the : makes it look like a smilie. ;) It could get a little suspicious if you go around saying "pigs and cats like to eat elephants".

You could say..

I have seen you with VMK Flamingo before.

Get it VMKF, but since you say VMK Flamingo, it makes it look like your talking about the staff memeber, VMK_Flamingo.

Another way could be to classify it as the 'hippo' which I have done, and my friends say "Get on the hippo!" it's quite humourous actually.

I've used both of these methods, and not gotten a ban or warning for them.
However, this doesn't mean you won't please be careful when even secretly talking about VMKF.
