Ok, It's long rumored that it will happen....But here's some proof found in the info box in the new VMK esplanade:
"The gateway to future virtual disney parks"
Tha's the first few lines of the info box. So does this mean we'll get a VEC (Virtual Epcot Center) or VDS (Virtual Disney Studios) maybe a VAK (Virtual Animal Kingdom)???? Here's hoping everyone!:mickey2:
BTW: Let's use those terms when talking about it. (I.E. " a VEC would be very cool!")

Seems so, if VMK was popular enough to expand like that. Maybe then, we'll get quests at AK, Disney Studion/MGM, and Epcot!

Have you heard that they are working on a Disney mountain quest that ends up at animal kingdom? I guess to tie in with Everest. They need to do a Epcot Quest! With a Soarin' Flight Attendent outfit and a Spaceship Eath guest room as prizes. Oh and a "World Showcase designers collection" too! LOL:mickey2:

It would be so much fun to have all the virtual parks :) I think I would stay on VMK the most though :)

I say they need to tweak and capture the essence of Magic Kingdom... Before they start trying to make the other three Walt Disney World parks...

*sigh*

That pretty much is what VMK is. It's based mostly off of DLR.

In the backround of the VMK Esplanade area you can see Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure from left to right. Maybe if they make any new Virtual Parks, California Adventure would be the first since DL and WDW are pretty much VMK right now.

If rumors are that they are changing the name of California Adventure becuase of lack of attendance, it would be logical that VCA would be next to encourage more visits to DCA, but if this is really an extension of Disney vision, I think Virtual Epcot would be next.

Adding a Disney park that is not well liked and not very popular would not be a smart move right now...

As someone else said... Epcot would be the best choice...:mickey2:

I was told by a developer, during the beta days, that the Quests would eventually expand to the other parks.

Yes, I've heard this too. I don't think the name change is happening. Maybe they'll change the logo, But I doubt they'll change the name.:mickey2:

But If you look close enough, the Disney Cruise is in the back. Imagine, traveling on a monorail to a cruise ship. They probably not going to put a the cruise, but hey, that would be cool. Just no rooms, because of all those inappropiate people.

my guess is they will come up with a park like DCA.... whihc has many rides from WDW... so DCA can have a quest.. and the other parks at WDW can have quests.. but there are ways to get the items at both resorts... to be fair... or as fair as possable...

it would be cool if they had quests to do on the cruise ship thought. . .hopefully by springbreak time!!!

It would be so cool if they added more places to vmk. I'm also happy they added another game to it.

You are forgetting VCA (Virtual California Adventure).

Well...*actually* Disney has this policy of NEVER EVER calling the California Adventure, just the California Adventure. It's ALWAYS "Disney's California Adventure," the trouble is...the news never really gets all the way down the ladder. It's so much easier to call it the California Adventure though...

I wonder if the virtual DCA will be as lightly themed and "off the shelf" as the real park! ;) In all seriousness, though, I really think VMK could expand from the real park designs to make VDCA even more impressive than the real DCA. I'm a firm believer in DCA's CALIFORNIA theme...because in all honesty CA has a huge amount of diversity in history and geography. It would be neat if the DCA concept would just be the springboard, for an amazing California concept in the game. I would hope they could do a good job with that, just like the fusion of Tomorrowland styles employed in the Tomorrowland hub.

Our tour guide in early September talked about the possiblity of new quests in other parks throughout WDW. She mentioned one in particular that she called "The Thrill Seeker Quest". Of course she did not go into great detail (do they ever?) but it was implied that you would ride the thrill rides (Rocking Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror etc) to find answers. Maybe they will have a check off Quest sheet. After each ride you get a point for completion. Just guessing here.............Sounded interesting.

In addition to the cruise ship, there are also the EPCOT sphere, a giraffe (one of the animal icons for Animal Kingdom, and a very large blue hat (icon for Disney Studios). My guess is these are all in the development phase. The beauty of a "virtual" kingdom is that, as the developers get more experience, they can bring on new games and lands at a faster rate. I suspect with 2000 - 3000 guests playing at any given time (and this after just four months of operation), we may be in for some very wonderful surprises over the next year.

Magic Kingdom's Cinderella's Castle, although not a very good rendition, and Animal Kingdom's Tree of Life are in there aswell...

So all four Walt Disney World icons are there, they are just missing Earful Tower from Disney-MGM Studios...

Well my guess is this. My therey year bye year.

First Year ( This Year ): The Finishing of Magic Kingdom on VMK. Also practice things to do on the game for the future.

Second Year: VMK Announces a new park to start consrtuction. My guess is Epcot or something like that. Later that year a other park announce in the making.

Thrid Year: VMK Announess the name being chage to VDR (Virtual Disney Resort) and makes two more parks and starts making a other park,

Fourth year: Disney Cruise Line announced. This to conclude all the parks. Also more lands announce to areas and quests.

My weird idea.

I also take it nobody noticed the cruise ship in the background in the esplande...

I hope that they do VEC, Vitrual Epcot Center next...EPCOT is my fav. disney park of all...come on they have such potential for virtual rides...

I don't know what they could do for spaceship earth, but I definitley have ideas for all the other rides...

Mission:SPACE - Okay have this be you and 3 others trying to keep the ship safe from injuries, have someone activate hypersleep and extend the wings for landing, think space race online but a tad different and much better...also assign two teams to battle for the most points, the more succesful your mission is the more points you gain, the ship that gains the most points wins (similar to space race online)

Ellen's Energy Adventure - Perhaps a room (similar to VMK's matterhorn if you will) where you see animatronic dinosaurs and an animatronic ellen/bill nye and if you click ellen/bill you get credits, this will be in a nighttime jungle setting (like the ride)

Test Track - Build your own vehicle, then strap in and take it through all the neccesary tests...

Honey I shrunk The Audience - still working on this one

Soarin' - Pilot your own hanglider and fly over california landmarks

Behind the seeds tour - A giant multi-room room (similar to VMK's matterhorn if you will) where you get to explore the greenhouse (as living with the land boats pass by)

The Living Seas - Perhaps yet another room (similar to VMK's matterhorn room if you will) and it is just a giant multi-room aquairium type room with perhaps a scuba diving ride inside where you are a scuba diver and feed the animals and put a show for guests...

This is all I got for now...feel free to add!

Would love to see a quest with a question like

"In tower of terror, after the 3rd drop, right before the lights go out, what is the floor right below you? you have .5 milleseconds to look."

Anyways, I was thinking... above the turnstiles to Town Square, there is the VMK logo... I wonder... maybe as a shortcut they will buy domains like "Vepcot.com" or "VDCA.com" so you can log in to a specific park. Also maybe probably i guess you might even have seperate guest rooms for each park...
