It just came to my mind about this, like in pirates when you are playing and then you loose, and then the other team says Haha You Lost, LOL, or hah like that. Can you get banned for that.

It's mean, but it is not mean enough to warrant a ban. If the person said something very inappropriate, then yes, they should be banned.

Saying something like "u stink" or "hah, that was easy!" Is really rude and can really make someone feel bad after losing, but would not cause a ban from VMK.

Especially the conversations that people have during the game? Its awful and you get ganged up on.
Rubbing in the glory to the other team is bad sportmanship and its down right bullying. They should do a ban on that.

Even if the game doesn't ignore them forever - you still have the choice to ignore them by self control.

Okay the ignore usually lasts for... well I'll say 15 minutes. Like a boot. Well in ignore, you're sort of 'booting' them from talking to you.

I'm pro for an ignore button within the pirates game - but I don't believe all chat should be taken out if it is the player's wish for it to remain. There is valuable chat located in some games that wouldn't separate the pirates game from the rest of the game, in terms of usefulness.

Well, when I lose to someone who doesn't take a win or a loss the right way, I try and play them again and try twice as hard to make them cry in their sleep (a 5 second game) and they get so mad and then that's where the ban would probably come into play. lol

I am a great pirate player, it's been my favorite game since beta, easy 300 credits a game. But, I'm not like others that show off. People who say things such as "haha we win!" or say a bad word because they lose just shows they are very happy because they won for the first time (Sounds kind of rude, sorry) or because they never win/haven't won all day and are very frustrated. People should just learn that VMK is not just an online game to win credits and be better than everyone else. VMK is a game that should be about Disney. Disney, PlayHouseDisney, DisneyChannel, DisneyMovies, and many more!

Never recall it doing that. The prizes from the chest are either 100 credits or a Pirate Throne (various colors). Haven't received the 100 credit prize in a while now - though I have substantially cut back on my playing of level one.

Most of the taunts ingame are brought by players who have been dead and are bored of waiting to play next round.

I also think it has to do with losing all your credits at some point. Playng 21 credits and only 7 to start off with.

The game is rather fast in gaining a good amount of credits, and losing them in one game is rather upsetting. You all can claim the same actions, because I see it way too often. I will see 90% of the time people being rude in a pirates game.

The only way a ban should come in effect, if the arguing and rudness keeps happening out of game. Or, if a mod is specing a game, which I am sure never happens. Or they would step in and warn people about their actions.

I mean come on! The game is basically action vs action. It is alike that of a first person shooter game (and it is!). And those games are very agressive and so is this one. Its only peoples competitive nature to be rude and nasty to others in such a game. In saying that, you can blame the game for peoples rudeness, just being honest.

I am used to getting taunted because I lose so much. You really have to get used to losing to get used to the taunts.

I chat as little as possible. it distracts the other players and takes up space on the window. saying gg all and gl all makes sense, but lots of dialogue causes lag and distracts others. saying 'you stink we win' would not get me mad, most of the time as bad as i play pirates i deserve it LOL :xgrin:
