Why couldn't they make it a true Thon and go all day? That way whenever a player can sneek a few minutes they can ride. Those of us going to relatives' houses for the day will miss it all. I just hope they have the same prizes on all the days.

what is with all you american's complaining. At least for you lot it is on at a reasonable time unlike myself as well as stitchmad and jezibabe where it is 1am over here in the uk. You lot may have a chance to get to a computer to log on at least once, if we want to we'll have to stay up half the night. You should all just be greatful that VMK makes all the events happen at suitable times for you where those of us outside the US can only ever get to a couple of events a week, you lot can pick and choose which events you do if there is a host prize the rest of us have to make do with trying to win it on the few events they give us which is not always a simple teleporter game. So please at least think how lucky you are.

Off Topic. Us brits also have no chance of buying the DVD's with the codes for the reward site so we also miss on those items too, unless we trade a fortune for them which we take a lot of time getting our rarer items since we could not just go to Disney every weekend or so to stack up on all the quest items.

basically what im saying is you should be greatful for all the advantages you lot have got. Us brits dont go making a big deal about all the things we miss it just happens you may miss out on one event we miss out on a lot of events and a lot more. First off, The rooms are absolutely amazing!
The Host's truly did a wonderful job- words can't even describe the rooms!

Secondly, the prize is great! It's really good especially for building and things. Smaller carpets always seem to come in handy for detail!

VMK has the tendency to show items to us and not bring them out for a year, or never like flying carpet magic. Hey, it may come out, but in the time VMK has been out, we've seen it many times, but not once has it ever been out. I don't think ALL of what you see here will be out this month.

I was actually happy with the prize they had last night. This was because I as well as alot of others I'm sure where not home last night do to it being Thanksgiving. I wouldn't have been able to get anything if it was something new. The rugs are something I could use and actually probably would. Now as long as they add new prizes for today threw sunday it will be good. Hopefully it wont be repeat prizes all weekend.

The rooms where awesome I really liked the new ride vehicles they had those where neat. I also liked all the new decorations.

I can't believe so many people complained...on Thanksgiving! It's a new item, maybe not what you expected, but you can still use it! It fill in gaps that the 2x2 leave. There is today, tomorrow, and the day after. Today, I bet there will be more items released. There is also another Friday too! Plenty of time for them to release some of these cool items. Who knows, maybe we will get Peter Pan parts and Royal Ride parts! Just be thankful they actually had a Ride-a-Thon, and look forward to today.

I'd like to thank the Hosts for their amazing work on the rooms! They took a lot of effort, and they were so pretty. We even got a look at some really cool new items!

I like the prize last night, now I can finish some of my rooms. When you put the large green rug in some corners, you always have a space left now you can finish that corner and the whole room floor is green.

Anyway I like the columns they can't stack though :( But! the do make very good use. I put the royal flowers and columns next to eachother to make a cool entrance to my room :)

well, you made your point. i was a little disheartened that you can't put anything on top of the colums. i had an idea to put the castle prop on top of them to make a floating castle. i guess the idea could still work if they release the clouds.

The crates are there to help you build things with your coloumns. A great idea if you ask me.

VMK events have been dodgy at best.
Dreams was a terrible event, Thanksgiving a big nothing. The Royal items show initiative but it seems that VMK has taken a back burner approach to this whole year compared to how it has been. Waiting half an hour to go through a ride a thon is disappointing when you get a green cloud. Been waiting now for the gray box and hoping the column will be cool.

Just because everything isn't pixie dust, doesn't mean you should attack those who aren't as equally thrilled.

Why is almost everybody mad about these enchanted tower like things?
I think they are cool but i will be mad if they sell them in the future. They should be rare.

Nobody is ever happy with the opportunities they get I guess..

The Dreams Suite Castle room was for Dreams month and was meant to be a prize that isn't common. I don't think they go around giving everyone at WDW a nights stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite- do they? Not everything is going to benefit everyone equally. I am also one person that doesn't have the Castle Suite room either, but I am not complaining.
- These Royal Castle Columns will work with any room and any project just like any other furniture item in VMK. Also- VMK made Royal walls, so you can build in your Dark Ride Room(s)! -- Use them there :)

Other than that I guess if you want to do other things it's your decision, but I don't see why you would want to buy something later that may be overpriced when you can ride and get them free ;)

The royal columns seem really cool, how long will this event be on because I'm forcing myself to not go on VMK until I get started on my school project (which I've procrastinated on doing 'till last minute :rolleyes:).

i noticed something when i was on the ride. in some rooms they used the same ride track pieces all the way through. well, i've noticed some people are sitting on the throne or they are in the gazebo looking ride thing. it's all the same track, just two different ride vehicles on the same track. anybody, have thoughts on this?

i believe it's a random thing because it's the exact same start but when u go from 1 to another u switch or stay the same i say it's random...

I don't recall reading this in any of the newletters or the events information? And we must remember Yavn has said things before that have never come to pass. I was hoping to see the Royal throne chair in at least one color sold this weekend. Why does VMK wait until the end of the moon to sell stuff, when players are ready to move on to the next months theme? VMK never fails to disappoint! LOL

I think people (especially new players) think that since it is a ride-a-thon, that they will get in the room and will be automatically put on the ride. Unfortunately, this is not how it works.
