This version of Wicked includes new characters (same people just with VMK accpetable names) and new settings! Sign up for any parts and audition today! I have a question first lol. What is Wicked? I've never heard of it.

It's a Broadway show that tells the beginning story of the Wizard of Oz. It was a very good show.

For those of you who want to be in the show, these are the possible parts:

Taylor (aka Elphaba)
Davey (aka Fyero)
Gabriella (aka Glinda)
Doctor Jones (aka Doctor Dillimond)
Wizard of The Mountain (aka Wizard of Oz)
Extras
(I know there are more but I can't think of any at the moment. Please tell me what I missed. If you can, try to think of a VMK approved name for them.)

We also need workers for these:

Makeup, hair, costumes {Taken by Friez}
Script Writer
Coreographer
Set Design (says what should go where and such)
Set Builder
Prop/Set Finder
Director
Room Builder
Snack Cart Runner


Script writers, set builders/design, and director MUST have seen/see the show. That way, it can be set up properly. Prop/set finders are in charge of finding props and items that fit with the show. I will repay you for the stuff, but that will be discused another time. Room builders and set builders must work together. (I must approve the room.) For more information, PM me. If there are multiple script writers/coreographers/directors that's ok. We need a lot of people for this show to be a success.
As for the people trying out for a part, try outs will be held sometime next week or so. All play info will be posted in this thread.

Oh! I'll try for Elphaba, but you should know I won't be on all week, I am busy with my own theater @_@ I just recently saw Wicked with my theater group on Broadway and it was spectacular! But not better then Phantom still:) But this should be interesting:)

Awesomeness. If there are not enough people to have tryouts for parts, we will stick with who we have. After all parts have people, we will have a general meeting to talk about the play and what happens. *If you have a small part in the play you can work as a stagehand or help write the script.*

Yes there will be. I just need to know when everyone can be on.

Giving this a bump to say that if you wish to be a script writer, we only need about a fifteen or so minute show. PLEASE: we need people to write the play. It's basically a summary of what happens, you know, just a shorter version. Also, a cast and crew meeting will be held today. If you're online, I will send all cast/crew a PM to say that we are having a meeting. If you are unable to attend, PM me back. We need a lot more people to make this show a success!
