I'm thinking of making a tutorial on how to animate and make icons in Paint.
For my reference, what do you look for in a tutorial?
I'd look for pictures, they help me understand things. I'd also look for steps.
What about you?

One thing about tutorials is they tend to not explain things so well. I have some experence in writing tutorials as I used to work for a graphics site. Have a picture for EVERY step. Only have one thing for each step. Example: 1. Open paint. 2. Make new document.. and so on. Be sure to be detailed about the proccess.
Now one thing I'm confused about is how you can animation icons on Paint. Paint is a simple non-animating program. Although, if you've found out how to do this I can't wait to see your tutorial. The best of luck!

Images that actually help explain are important, but the best thing I have to say are the images and brushes and colors used in the tutorial. Usually when people first do a tutorial, they try to do it exactly like the tutorial says, and it may look bad with different images or brushes.
The thing I'd /request/ most would probably the ending result as the first and separate image. If I don't like the result, there's no purpose in waiting for all the images to load.
An interesting title, make it obvious what the tutorial's about and who it's aimed at. [Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced]
Another thing that I like is when people upload the tutorial as one image. Text included. That makes it a bit better, but that's probably just a personal preference.
