From a certain Disney Pin site:

VMK Logo Pin

The first of the WDI VMK pins, this is the Virtual Magic Kingdom website logo.

LE 300
Retail $8.00

What I'd like to point out is that it states FIRST!!! Mayhaps they have something up their sleeves? We did see VMK logo hats and shirts recently released at the WDI store.

I would just ike to point out...

These pins were released at Mickey's of Glendale, is open to all Walt Disney Company Cast Members. You need a valid ID to gain access. Guests are welcome, as long as they are accompanied by a Cast Member.

Try your best!

Yes, you are correct, they were released on Monday but my point is more that it states the FIRST pin. This might be evidence that we will see more merchadise in the future, perhaps even for us regular folks. :)

I bet these are the pins of cast members who used to help in vmk central!

I wonder why they came out at such a random time. Also, are they available in Florida too?

Aww man, I own the Blue VMK Pin (http://www.vmkforums.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4869&cat=865) already, and they're releasing it! :(.
I will buy all 300. LOL. Mind telling me where you found it? I couldn't find it on the one I usually look on.
Thanks!

Is there a difference between the LE300 WDI pin and the pin given out at DLR and WDW last year?

Anyone have both to compare?

The site I found this on states that it is backstamped with WDI and LE 300. The ones we received from turning in our tour cards do not have that backstamp. So that would mean there are 2 versions. :)

Can you please tell me which site? What tour cards?

But other than the backstamp, anything else?

I see what you mean.. how it makes you feel special to have one of the little amounts of the Blue Logo pins but the comment quoted seems a little mean to those who never got one and want one, personally I have no interest in getting one

OK, I have now looked at both pins and their IS a difference. The first LOGO pin (on right) has virtual magic kingdom in white and the new WDI pin (on left) has it in gold.

I found a picture of the new WDI pin on a certain auction site. Credit goes to the person who put it up but I can't say the name due to advertising. ;)

Maybe its a update so Stitch you may have a different one and could still be special :)

$8.00 - Arm and a leg? Its only £3.00! Not Much... AKA A BARGIN!

Its not the first time WDI has made pins similar to existing designs. I have not compared but there usually is minor differences between WDI and park pins when they use pre-existing designs.

WDI should be releasing more VMK pins within a couple months, Tiki and pirates are the themes that were said.

Also, you only need to be a cast member to order the pins from the portal, ANYONE can purchase them at the store in Glendale, the only way however to get to the store is to be walked in with a cast member. The store also is open to the public without having to be with/or a cast member at the NFFC conventions usually held twice a year in CA.

I'm actually quite happy at this, and I'd LOVE to get this one also. Looks like there IS a difference. Great find Green.
On the back of the one I have, it says "(C)Disney", I'm guessing on the back of this it will say WDI, and/or LE300. Yay.

Here's both pics next to each other to compare. Enjoy. The first one (right) is mine. It's kinda nice to know that I have something in real of VMK.
