Within 36-hours, the second phase of the Beta test will come to a
close. But don't let that get you down - the close of Beta means the
official launch is here!

Thank you for all of your valuable feedback and for helping make
Pirates Online a world-class gaming experience.

We're sure you are wondering what will happen to the pirate avatars
you created during the Beta test... While you will not be able to
take them into the live game with you, you will be able to play with
these avatars on the Test Server. We have already flagged your
account for access to the Test Server - you will be the first to
experience all the upcoming game content for Pirates Online.

Over the next 36-hours, the launcher you have been using to play
Pirates Online during the Beta test will be unavailable in
preparation for the game's full release. However, you can still
play alongside your fellow Beta players by downloading the launcher
for the Test Server now.

This is a message I just got in my email- hope you all enjoy! I can't wait until it officially starts. Since we lose our characters stats, I guess that means we lose our friends too!

I don't like it that we don't get to keep our Characters... Atleast I get to give him better clothes, lol. ( I finally got steel sword and double barrel gun. :( )

I'm currently downloading the Test Server, but it takes a long time. The screen where you can click on your character and play is up, but it is downloading Port Royal. So I think it will download the rest of the lands next, so I might be here.

I tried the normal login, and it says it's closed for ' mainentence. '

Is it me, or did Phase 1 of Beta last a lot longer than Phase 2?

During Beta, you could only play if you entered a Beta Code. Since Beta is closed, no one can play on the real server till it's open on the 31st. So, you can Pre-Order now to get the Unlimited Access when the games officialy opens.



Just bought the Unlimited Access... Can't wait to play the full game. :)

Hmm, I messed something up. I got to the choose your avatar screen and it was "downloading rambleshack" but it was stuck on 72%. So I pressed quit. I think it's coming back up though.

You have to download a new launcher, the one you used before is no good. The new "TEST" launcher is what you need now.

This was happening to me last night as well. My only guess is that the server, now being test only, is going to be extremely slow until the public release comes along, being most beta testers will continue to play the game until opening for the public, and then switch to that server.

It makes me a bit mad that we have to ditch our pirates for the public release, but I guess that does make it fair for everyone.

I could get in the game this morning from the test launcher. There were other people on as well and I didn't have to create another avatar.

I finally got into the Test Server late last night... Probably just working on final touches for the official game launch tomorrow.

Do we get anything like to show we were BETA testers..

Do we get anything like to show we were BETA testers..That's what I'm wondering. It would be nice. Like with VMK we get a "Day 1" badge. Hmm.

Also, I would like it if all beta testers got free unlimited access. I mean, they're going to have other people buying it, right? Maybe not forever but for a month? We tested the game and, well, pretty much cleaned it up. We combed through all the junk and bugs. But, we did get unlimited access during beta.

I'm not complaining, I'll just be getting basic and it's fine with me. ;)

Man, i can't believe beta is ending, i just got my beta key a few weeks ago, but can't play since my computer is slow. I just a graphic card for my computer to make it go faster, so much to test out beta...
