Uhm...my computer says it's 8:30. Yet everywhere it's ahead 1 hour.......did it just change to daylight savings today or something??

I'm central time btw.

I think it changed because of savings time, but they aren't springing back until sometime in November now.

I dont know if this will help - cause of the time zone thing - but its 10:44

Normally Daylight Saving Time does end today in the U.S. However, the government changed the schedule this year, and DST does not end until next Sunday 11/4. It sounds like your computer did not get the update and did the "Fall Back" today instead.

You can either:

(1) Wait a week for the new DST change. :)

(2) Manually set your computer ahead one hour now, then set it back one hour next Sunday.

(3) Check your operating system manufacturer's website for a DST change software patch.

It means all clocks go ahead.. aka the last day of summer.. this happened back on saturday!
