As slinkyman posted a few days ago about a new gaming area at Disneyland, I got new info, and pics about it.
There are 4 computers, 1 slightly smaller than the other 3. It is upstairs in Innoventions, as downstairs is closed. Obviously, so people can still play VMK, there are new computers upstairs.
They are not new games, they are simply there to log in, like the old ones. Yes, you win the black ears package for making an account there. If you got questions, ask me.
Here's some pictures. I also took a short video, and I would love it if someone could PM me a site I can use to upload the video with. VMK Forums won't allow me to use most, so if there is any new ones, let me know.

They have never had comfortable chairs, in an effort to keep people from camping out all day there. The arcade-style cabinet looks pretty cool. Here's an idea to make them better...

Just a thought, but there should be some system to complete a Park-only quest, and get prize cards like you do with Esmeralda, Fortune Red and Shrunken Ned in the parks.

I like how the computers also have the trading card game items on the side of them. Something tells me we'll see them soon.. ;)

I like the computers...but only four? Everyone is going to be camping out all day to get black mickey ears while people who actually want to try playing vmk and see what vmk is like will be stuck waiting all day.

Here's an idea to make them better...

Play a quest, the machine spits out a prize card.

Just a thought, but there should be some system to complete a Park-only quest, and get prize cards like you do with Esmeralda, Fortune Red and Shrunken Ned in the parks.
Now we're talkin'! I like this idea as it removes the cast member/kiosk issues without removing the in park quest system entirely.

Still, Im glad to see they've given VMK a place somewhere in the park. Even if its just a few machines.

I like the fact that they have a long lasting look to them. Makes me feel a bit more secure that VMK will be around for a while longer! Now, I know they can change "video games" around quickly and easily but, why would they go to the trouble of doing it this way if it wasn't going to be there for a good amount of time?

I just went to Disneyland, they are very nice.:)

I like the way there are alot more up to date and more with the 21C theme.. but the old retro looking box computers looked alot more disney!

I camped out at vmk one day on a saddle computer in innoventions. I wasn't waiting for ears, though. I was just very bored, very tired, I was going to be in the park for 8 hours waiting for someone, I had already been in the park for the entire week, and was alone, it was horribly hot and crowded, so I decided a nice seat in the air conditioning and a game to keep me occupied was much better than the funk of hairy sweaty strangers smushed against me as we try to make our way through a 3 hour line. ;p One of the CMs kept coming up to me and asking if I needed anything..a drink, perhaps. haha That guy was one of the good ones. ^_^

If you want to know, The computers, hanging logo, and the posters have changed. They are now revolving around the 3 other games ( WAHHHH!!!!!!!! )

Those computers don't have special powers... although they have a decorative VMK cover, they can't magically turn on a server that's already been turned off, or terminated.
