First of all it isn't a ride it is just a bunch of games
Second of all they are adding a Cars Land, A New Water Show, A Little Mermaid Ride, and they are decorating the enterance way like when Disneyland first opened
MY POINT MADE:
it was in our newspaper

Just as stated above, but here's a link to a thread regarding the new DCA

I believe it is going to be a ride similar to Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. Not a bunch of games.

Okay, I'm your theme park/disney/roller coaster nerd here so I'll tell you guys how this ride will be like in a little more detailed view.
First of all, knowledge of this ride has been around since Fall of 2006 so this isn't really new news but we are learning more and more as time goes on. It is going to be a ride similar to Buzz Lightyear but definitly more innovative.
It will be using technology that the cars freely spin around with no track for atleast part of the ride although there also might be tracking on it, I'm not really sure. There is similar technology used on a Winnie the Pooh ride in one of the international parks (I think Tokyo) but it doesn't come to the top of my head right now. They are also building this ride at MGM and they will be opening around May/June/July of 2008 in Paradise Pier at DCA and also at MGM at Walt Disney World.
That's pretty much all I know and this is coming WAY before the DCA renovation project and is sort of unrelated in a way as we knew about this project well before we knew about the renovation which is newer news than this.
It does look like a nice ride and will improve the overall quality of the Paradise Pier area, that's for sure!

Well, it is a part of the DCA project, it is coming way earlier than the rest of the DCA project is even STARTING.. This ride is opening in the early summer of 2008 (I am assuming around the same time as the summarines opened this year (Sometime in June).
I guess it is a part of the project but is coming atleast two or three years earlier than the rest of the project. It originally was just coming on its own since it was announced a whole year ahead of everything else.
Don't really want to get into an argument about this.

i was talking to some guy who worked at disneyland about it around the time they were working on pirates he told us what they were doing on pirates and that a toy story attraction was to be made and that dca might do an incredibles coaster as well as taking out the "california" and combining the 2 parks which i dont think will happen can you imagine the price to enter if they combined both parks?!
