Your are all in as well... Legendary level is hard! I've beat some legendary levels but @_@ just tried to beat sierra 117 on legendary but um dead like 25 times and as long as we are being appropriate, yes, it is G-rated and if the mods disagree then they may take it out and fyi the XBOX 360 clan is talking about H3 so ha!

And, I to have beat Halo 3 first time in, marked time, 4 hours 47 min. and 56 sec. (i skipped like a ton of the cinimatics lol)

Well I got halo 3 but i only play Live.

finished all on heroic level. man that was easy. i finished it in about 3-2 days. ( on weekends lol ) i was bored and nothing to do.

use to have halo 1 and 2 i got fored in like 20 min and returned

I completed Halo 2 at my friends house, and I don't have it here. I haven't played the others. We played for two days, not straight in a row, though. It was very fun, even though some parts were hard. :) Can't wait to play Halo 3!

I'd never played Halo before. I begged and pleaded to get Halo 3. So we got Halo 3. This morning, my dad opened it and said that he was going to play it and I could watch but I can't play it until he's sure it's ok for me to play. Because, it's not even PG-Rated. It's M, 17+. But anyway, he played it, and I don't really understand what the big deal is all about. The graphics are.. 360 standard. Nothing too amazing. The gameplay? A standard shooter (go to area, shoot aliens, got to next area, shoot aliens, next area, etc.). The story? 60's Saturday Morning stuff. And 1st person makes me feel sick, because it's like blindered vision. No peripheral vision. So dad said I can play it as long as he plays with me, but quite frankly, I doubt that I'll be playing ti like at all, come my birthday, October 23, when i (probably) get a PS3. I'll play MotorStorm until November 20th, when Uncharted comes out. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune looks far more intelligent (complex story) than Halo and is graphically superior.

So this console war, the Wii will come out on top, because it's the Wii, although I doubt I will get one. But it's likely that the PS3 will come second. All that the 360 had going for it was Halo and the promise of Halo 3. Now that Halo 3 is out, the 360 sales will decline slowly, especially as the PS3 gets killer apps like Uncharted, Home, and LittleBigPlanet.

And about future Halo stuff: Nobody wants to play the Strategy Halo game, Halo is a shooter, and a strategy game makes you think too much for the generally simple-minded Halo fans to be able to play it. And the Peter Jackson project is most likely a movie trilogy.

And Exoxus, I agree that they shouldn't really be talking about this, but everybody knows what Halo is. I mean, there's even a Halo soft drink. Which, by the way, to all you Halo freaks, tastes like liquified carbonated sugared and caffeinated pine needles.

I disagree, I love stratigy games. Halo 3 is only good if you have played the others. It has a legacy! Millions of people love it! It is what SAVED Xbox 360 from crashing into a pit of doom....well that and VIVA PINATA!

Well, A new thing came up in Halo history, it is that (although they have been out a long time) there is now a Halo 3 Xbox 360, Halo 3 face-plates, Halo 3 trading cards, Halo 3 action figures (the game type, like attacktix only Halo 3 style), Halo 3 controllers, they had Halo 3 Mountain Dew game fuel slurpee's, I think they still have Halo 3 Mountain Dew Game Fuel (I stocked up!!!), and they have wall graphics A.K.A. the stickers of Master Chief and brutes and the "3" from Halo 3 and other stuff that you can stick on your wall. If I missed any of the new stuff, please post, therefore telling me to edit.
Out of the above I have:
Halo 3 Covenant face-plate
A pack of Halo 3 trading cards (for collector's reasons)
A pack of Halo 3 action figures (for collector's reasons as well)
I have four Halo 3 slurpee cups (two of one, two of another, but one I didn't manage to get any of, darn!)
I have a few packs of 12 cans of the Mountain Dew Game Fuel Soda
I have some wall graphics (Because they look really good on my bathroom walls) of Master Cheif, a brute and the "3" from Halo 3

Not to instigate an argument or anything, but I can think of far worse games to talk about than Halo. Sure it's not G-rated, but then, what is G-rated? I believe it's a perspective that varies from person to person, like all ratings.


Not being an Xbox owner, I've only played Halo: Combat Evolved for PC, so I don't know what Halos 2 and 3 are like, so I could be totally wrong on the far worse games bit.

Actually, I think violence is violence, no matter what perspective you look at it. It kind of is a G-Rated Forum, so don't you think you should pick a G-Rated game? If not, maybe try another forum for this club. However, i'm just wondering, not trying to kick you out or anything, since I don't have that power to do so.

Just a question, my dad was playing Halo 3 before, and i was just wondering, does anyone else bring the vehicles inside buildinga and try to bring them far in the game? Including, trying to fit them in doorways?

I'll join, though I dont have any Halo games, I love to stay up all night with my best friend over at his house and play Halo against his dad.. man we kill him totally! He get's like.. 5 kills, my friend and I get about 18 per.
Cookies, my friend and I do Blood Gulch on Halo 1, and we bring both the vehicles in the building, and then throw grenades and shoot rocket launchers trying to blow them up and make them go backwards and hit us in the face and we die:)
