Toontown isn't free...
There is a free trial for about 3 days but you have to pay like 15 dollars a month

They have a free, but it's restricted.
I have toontown, I'm a two year member, it's really worth it imo.

Toontown used to offer a 3 day trial membership. They have now extended it indefinitely. You are very limited in what you can do, however. I tried it for one day and got frustrated because I couldn't follow my friends out of Toontown Central. The cost depends on how you want to pay. You can pay monthly but it is cheaper to pay for the year. Definitely worth it.

Free accounts are perfect for the families that have small children that want to play but they won't do much besides TTC, fish, and trolley. That's about all my daughter ever does and she has had her toon for over a year. In her case, I would not make her now have a free account because she has seen all there is to offer, but other parents of small children would be able to let their younger kids have that free account and let them have some fun without having to pay.
When I first started, it was a 3 day membership and you couldn't leave Toontown Central. Later, they changed it so non members could venture anywhere they wanted, but it was still 3 days. Now it's unlimited but you can't leave Toontown Central again, and your access is limited, as noted above. Hope this helps.

Yup. They now offer no-paying-free-toontown. HOWEVER, as like others have said, it only restricts you to toontowncentral. Imo, it was not even worth it. I like to go to different lands, work on toontasks (outside of TTC) and get different gags.
You MIGHT like toontown better, if you have never played it before. It gets you into what toontown is like, but is vastly restricted.
You don't get full member perks, or they might as well make toontown free if they did. I, personally, dont think it is worth it. If you have the money and are willing to pay, pay for the full thing.
I am sure I said alot of stuff over again by accident.. :)

In my opinion. Toontown is SO NOT better then vmk!
For the free version, you only can stay at TTC -,-
But when you pay full membership (like Inavderzim and I)
You can go everywhere! YAY!
But the free toontown stinks haha lol

You don't get full member perks, and my friend said he couldn't get out of Toontown Central. I bought it so I think it's a little unfair that now it's free, but I still think being a member is better.
