We all write and believe in our own little worlds, but not everyone likes everything they see. Most people often think of the interest and the plot other than the story, (They outline into the future). Many of us use the power of the bigger words and even more difficult to keep the readers stumbling on to a new.
Here are some tips, On how to capture someone's eyes while reading!:)
Details!
Use the power of the setting to make the illusion that your actually in the story. Often use similes or metaphors to catch the eye. If you have trouble using them, describe the theme. Or what's going on! Mystery or danger most likely gets the reader wanting more.
Example: The whirling wind was layered below me as I felt it's gentle breeze.
Compound Words
All of us have known this for a while, but the words you use define your writing. A civil manner of describing or telling in a story is by saying "It is". Yet, if you discover and write it as "It's" you will find an easier comprehension skill. Always Remember the Apoustraphe though! Another tip for this subject is to use Variety in the way you use them.
Some Dangers, the word "Don't" can be missconcepted and in an Example like..
"Do not you think it's nice out?"
When it should be
"Don't you think it's nice out?"
Facts
Useless Facts of information is always a book-dropper. Tend to use strangely odd facts such as,...
My Aunt has been said to have twelve toes.
It keeps the reader enoying and oddly keeping to be read.
Senses/Thoughts
We all add what our character or what we're thinking, but a reader wants the secrets and thoughts you think of! As if you were to rumor around school, what are your thoughts on it? Do you think it's right?
Example: The nervousness I had was increased by the population of the room. Sweat was dripping like I was digging at a sand beach all day, I thought.
"Out-of-use" Words
When someone uses words no one has ever heard of, or spoken of, it becomes a "Phrase". Sometime after that reading, the person will soon to have already been saying the word in Natural day-to-day discussions. It adds on to the vocabulary and catches the eyes, as they learn an interesting new word.
Example: "I don't like how you always treat me like a Dog-a-tang!"
Dog-a-tang - Dog Monkey made to dance around in circles and play the Harmonica.
So yes,
Mainly use all of these methods and/or techniques in your writing.
These simple suggestions should get you the top of the line comments!
