Hey all you HSM fans. High School Musical is returing in TWO days. So here we can discuss all things HSM. Now as many of you know, The HSM 2 soudtrack was realsed yesterday on iTunes and all aroun the country. I was one of the firsts to grab my copy on iTunes ^^. So basicly I'm going to rate all the songs here and give you my thoughts, and you can do the same. Also feel free to discuss whatever you like! Also I am listing from least to greatest, then putting a grade next to it and some comments. But you can do it how ever you like.

11.HUMUHUMNUKUNUKUAPUA'A (B-) "It's funny, but very strange, but I have to give props to Ashley Tisdale for saying that word so many times!
10.Fabulous (B) "I like the songs intro, really fits Sharpay. But it is not my favorite"
9.You Are The Music In Me (Sharpay Version) (B) "Way to fast for my tastes"
8.Work This out (B) "I really like this song, but it repeats itself a lot."
7.Bet On It (B+) "As much as I don't like Zac Efforn, he did very well in this song, good lyrics too."
6.I Don't Dance (B+) "Ryan and Chad did a really good job with this song! It's really funny too."
5.All For One (B+) "Good group song, but a little to much like We're all in this Together"
4.What Time Is It (B+) "Great song, very fun and a good way to open the movie!"
3.Everyday (A) "I love this song! The chemistry between Troy an Gabriella is wonderfull. The lyrics and beat are very well done."
2.Gotta Go My Own Way (A) "I also love this song! You can tell Gabriella is really hurting. Yet again another example of great lyrics and beat."
1.You Are The Music In Me (A+) "This song just hit it out of the park for HSM 2! It is really a great way to say that music and love fit together in perfect Harmony. I also love the intro by Kelsi."

Cool! lol. i gotta go get my copy now lol. but what song do you think is gonna be a big hit like Breaking Free? lol

You Are The Music in Me is my best bet. It's the number one single on iTunes right now (Out of the album, not out of every song)

Oh my, the CD is great! I memorized ALL the songs. Oh, and it's spelling E-F-R-O-N, not Effron. o_O Oh Cause-Cause.

But I will be home on Sunday and be able to hear it crystal clear and be there for The Sing Along! And did anyone see Miley Cyrus? XD She was like on for 1 minute.

Love Fabulous been singing all the time!

Eh, the songs were worse than I thought they'd be, kinda dissapointed. My favorite songs are:

1)You are the Music in Me
2)Gotta Go My Own Way
3)Everyday
4) Fabulous
5) Bet on It

As you can see, I enjoyed the slower songs more for the reason that they usually have more too them, rather than saying "I don't Dance" 10,001 times in just one song. I'm sorry, but the songs this year went way downhill. I bought the CD last year because I thought the songs are cute, but these I don't like as much. Oh well, just my opinion.

Okay, Green here. I'm gonna post what I thought first, then my friend will.

I thought the following songs were good:

What Time Is It? [loved it!]
Gotta Go My Own Way. [very nice, i also loved it!]
Everyday. [this one was awesome. i liked how everybody starting to sing at the end]
I Don't Dance. [haha, it was funny because they /were/ infact dancing, and it's a good song.]
You Are The Music In Me. [ehh, i liked other songs better than this one, but still good.]
All For One. [was a bit like We Are All In This Together, but good still.]
Work This Out. [least favorite out of favorites.]

And I HATED:

Bet On It
Fabulous.
YATMIM [Sharpay]

I hated them all.

i liked all the songs but: Fabulous and Bet on it.

I thought the movie was going to be really good because they have been advertising it as huge and better than the first one. i think that the first one was much better and that the 2nd was okay. some of the songs were a little corny... but overall i thought it was pretty good.

I think Sharpay's version on a CD is a much different feel when watching the movie instead. You can tell how funny it actually is when you watch the movie. I like faster beats myself so I suppose... that's me. Here are my tops:

Anybody notice the first verse in Everyday has the melody of 'Can you Feel The Love Tonight' from the Lion King, the sentence or so?

I know it is a musical, but the only reason why the HSM2 songs kept coming on every five minutes was because of the director. He had a vote about the HSM2 and if there should be more singing. I personally think the votes were fake, lol. I liked the HSM1 better. More talking, less singing is the best =)

Yeah, and the timing of the songs are random. Especially Troy and Sharpay's solo- so random.

One or two, maybe three less songs would have been a bit better, but oh well.

It was SO sad when Gabriella gave Troy the necklace back! :( :(

And... when they sang Everyday- I almost cried, but my Mom did for me. xDD. For those of you who hate it, listen to the songs like, Everyday and Gotta Go My Own Way, just read the lyrics, the meanings are just remarkable.

Now That's just scary, its like you read my mind. I really did like fabulous on screen, but I listened to it before the movie and it was a lot different, not as funny. Sorta boring to me because it was slower.

you know that part where she dumps troy? well me and my friend were making fun of that and he wanted to be troy so we sang htat song, then like he wouldnt leave me alone so i got a bannana out of his fridge and threw it, it knocked him out! and then just to make him mad i dragged him around the floor and played GH2

Funny story--

Yesterday in science class somebody brought up how they HATE Bet on It but they love the music video. Then my friend starts saying how when Troy jumped off the cliff she got all excited because she thought he was gonna land on his head and die (she HATES HSM). Then somebody else said "Who's Zac Efron?" and we all are like ******** out. Then my OTHER friend (I'm a friendly person ;)) starts singing "Fabulous" and we're all singing it! It was soooooo much fun!!!
