I got my shiney new car yesterday. It was worth the wait. :D

I have to say that I waited for four hours on 5-5-05 at the gate of Disneyland and I was talking to random people about how my favorite things in the world were Disneyland, bubbles and shiny things. Well all of a sudden random people started blowing bubble and someone else took out a shiny keychain, I almost died! It was AMAZING!

i know what you mean about the glass shop. i could spend tons of cash and time in DL just in that shop. Sleeping Beauty castle out of glass is out of this world gorgeous! i want it every time. Someday. . . :)

I've never been to Disneyland, but I love to watch the glassworkers at Disney World. I loved watching them before, but because I started learning how to make glass beads I was really watching them on my last trip. I even meant to bring my glassworking safety glasses so I could try to see through the big fireball (sodium flare) even though my glasses are for soft glass instead of the borosilicate used in the sculptures, and was irritated that I forgot them at home and could only use my sunglasses to try to watch. It's fun to watch the people do techniques that I know just a little about, and also to talk a bit when there aren't many people around. If I hadn't had to fly home that day, I don't know that I would have left the Arribas Brothers shop. The person there, and I'm sorry I don't remember his name, was telling me how he was making the dragon's wings with the dichroic glass. He was even kind enough to show me a piece of the glass before he started on the second wing. :cool:

What'd you get if I may be so rude? I got a RAV4 (silver to shine better of course LOL). Thanks for asking. I have been waiting weeks for it because it was hard to find with the options that I wanted. We used Cars Direct, and I highly recommend them if you are still looking. What are you going to get, if I can be rude, too? :)
