I've had glasses for just about 4 years, and I can hardly see the words on the screen [its were most people have theirs on desks] without my glasses. I'm super blind. Dx

I can see REALLY well I can see things that others can't see unless I put my finger on it but my eyes are sensitive like I will get a migrane from looking into the light and I can't sit in the front rows at movies

I've had glasses for about five and a half years now. I don't hate them and I don't love them, they're just alright. :)

If you have this problem, you should get your eyes checked and tell the doctor about this. It may be a sign of a problem.

I get it sometimes to when I'm really tired or dizzy and make myself get off of the sofa anyway. As long as it goes away in a few seconds and you don't get it at really random times I don't think there's any problem in it.


Let's see here...

I've had two eye surgeries, one that I needed [that I got when I was very small], and the other one that was more "cosmetic" [that I got in about sixth grade], as the problem the first surgery corrected got worse over time. I opted for another surgery to fix it again, though I suppose I didn't really need it, I'm very happy I got it done. Frozen peas can do wonders for sore eyes.

Neither were laser surgeries, in fact I had 20/20 in one eye and better in the other up until seventh grade.

Then I started not being able to see distances in one of my eyes, and I got glasses the next year. I wear glasses and contacts on and off; this summer I've been sticking with glasses because I am too lazy to put up with contacts, though I stick with contacts during the school year. I've read somewhere and I also know from experience that one should take a break and not wear contacts a day out of every week or fortnight [two weeks], so that your eyes can "breathe". Same when you've got a cold. It makes your eyes hurt after a while if you don't.

Curiously enough, I only have one prescription. This means that I only have to wear one contact. Hehe, stigmitism.

I don't have to wear them if I don't want to, because I can see just fine out of my other eye, but I usually do because my "bad" eye is also my dominant eye. Go figure.

I'm suppose to wear contacts but I never do ..galaxee that happens to me too .. like when i'm putting something in a microwave it gets all spotty and black for like two seconds... its weird

me too but im near sighted i get the terrible headaches and rawr even get sick

Well, I actually just got glasses over the summer. They're not as big a deal as I thought they would be...I also got contacts like, a week ago. I've only worn them once... but I'd like to get used to them before school starts!

I've had glasses for five years and I've had contacts for about a year now.
I wear my glasses during the school week and wear my glasses on weekends.

If I don't have my glasses, I literally have to put something against my face to see it, and I'm nearsighted. :l

I had glasses for about 2 years before I got my contacts. I never liked having glasses, so I never used them unless reallyneeded. Then I got contacts. They are so much better! I love them!

I have glasses to wear when I am put in the back of the classroom but I don't wear them to many other things, except maybe the movies.

I have contacts and they have blue ring around the outside, so people think I have really cool looking eyes. :)

Ive had 3 eye surgerys And I still have to wear glasses! ( cause they did not work) O_O And well I hope i get contacts soon.

I have had black glasses for the past year and a half. I love the black, it brings out the blue in my eyes. Although, I need some new glasses soon, so when I go back to pick new frames, I'm going to get two. One pink frame and one black frame :D

I wear glasses. I don't wear contacts because my eyes are way too dry for them (I use eye drops several times a day). I won't get eye surgery because I think I look better with glasses, since I've been wearing them since I was 4!

I have glasses, my eyes are horrible and everytime they get checked, there at least twice as bad as the year before. >_< I'm in my early 20's - When I was younger, my prescription would change dramatically everytime I got them checked. By the time I reached high school, they stopped changing all together. My prescription hasn't changed in the last 7-8 years. So this may change for you in the future.

i don't need anything for my eyes except when i read sometimes i need magnifying glasses but that doesn't happen often.

I remember before, I really wanted glasses and contacts (dont remember why) so my friend kept telling me to go get your eyes check and fail the test on purpose, so I would write letters to my teacher saying I have to read with a magnifying glass. And then when I told my mom, she said that when they check your eyes, they can tell if your lieing or not.

But I dont wear anything, everyone in my family does tho, so I dont know if it's gonna get passed down to me. I hope I dont get them tho ;)
