I, personally, like the true spirit of halloween, fun. While now, our culture has sort of changed it into an occult conspiracy @_@ sometimes, it is hard to see the true spirit, but othertimes it isn't. Look at little kids when they are ready to go out trick or treating. Do you think they have any thoughts of threats, murder, anything that is not pure in their mind? No, they are simply after a nice night of fun and sugar. They represent the true spirit. Halloween can be a great Holiday, and with some schools, classes are off for the day whats not to love about that? ;)

lol, that in fact is why you should ALWAYS have your parent check your candy before you eat it :) also, there has only been a couple reported incadences of that happening. (by the way some of wich have happened because of their parents) but, halloween is pure, just as long as you follow your heart @_@ and always let your parents check your candy, or check it yourself if you don't trust them ;) LOL

this is not totally true, the rate of vampires has lowered to but only a few. And like I said in my post above, vmk celebrates the TRUE spirit of halloween, you seem to be leaning towards religion. fyi, vmk doesn't have words concerning this in their dictionary. so, I belive that vmk should allow halloween, because you can just ignore, boot, or report the people who disrespect the rules.

one point proven but if all the messages are already written and the staff just responds with the predesigned stuff (Sorry I can't explain this well) even if they are typing it it's still pretyped ( in my opinion ) as for the conversation with report thing well that is new...

two I was thinking directly of a time were somebody cussed at me and when I reported them the staff took twenty minutes and then said just ignore her ( ya cussing is a big deal in a kids game anyways -sarcasm-)

three as i stated in number two the girl cussed me out ( so in other words she said uh ya know and then left)

Maybe VMK should do events concerning all the religions instead of avoiding them. Apart from playing we will be learning!

I think that there should be an a Halloween Event... Because if people do have something against it, they do have the option to not attend... Just because they have something against a certain religious practice doesn't mean they have to ruin it for the rest. But I also do get how these people will feel like "they don't belong", but its not like any "official religious happenings" in VMK anyways... I will just think of it as regular VMK with a little extra...

ok let's think about this for a minute. a halloween celebration is a must in my opinion. people would swarm onto vmk if there was special halloween items to collect and other themed things to do. there will not be anybody uptight enough to stir up trouble with this because i seem to remember a certain event at disneyland...what is it called? The haunted mansion holiday! that is a theme of both christmas and halloween. that goes on without a problem and so will a halloween event in vmk.

My family has never supported Halloween, ( My family and I being Christian)
but personally I see nothing wrong with staff making a giant maze and having players try to get through it earning prizes at the end. You people seem to be jumping to conclusions that this is NOT the Halloween party. If they were having a Halloween party on the Halloween weekend, they would not be having another event that soon. (After just finishing with the maze event) Instead, they are telling us about an event in the middle of the month. I think the Maze Event IS the Halloween Party. This is just my theory of course, but that is all we can really do at this point without any solid evidence. (hint hint hint)

The majority of the people, however, are most likely going to want a Halloween event. Even if they didn't, VMK's going to have one that weekend anyway, so it doesn't matter. The point is, if you're going to be offended then don't log on that weekend. If you do log on, then don't complain, because people are going to be celebrating Halloween whether you like it or not. O-K! You guys are getting WAY out of hand. You aren't serious, I mean, VMK has custom rules and a word book. Plus how many times has a VMK staff member sent you a message with the ignore reminder. You can do that, unless you want to get banned.

Don't prove me right nor wrong because it's my opinion and VMK isn't that much like a real live problem, and VMK is safer than real life and the word book helps and that solves my problems on this thread, thank you very much!

Eh, I totally agree. VMK isn't a death-to-life matter! You think some stalker will come out asking you all these personal questions and telling you they will kill-track you down like a hunter? There are a bit of crazed people on VMK. So people will have trick-or-treat rooms over the girl or boy any other kind of rooms, so miss the event or not, if you wish. Your loss because Halloween is my third favorite holiday.

Yes, but staff has MUCH more problems than you do in your average life on VMK, so if you think staff is So slow, you try to answer all the reports you get if YOU were a staff, GOD!

I enjoy the spirit of Halloween just as much as the next three people who reply in a YES!

If you don't think that, I don't care. But if you don't like it or not, Jackthorn, people will be having rooms like Hall-oh-wean as we say on VMK, and most of us are going to like it.
