View Full Version : Funny Experiences @ Disneyland
smrtfriendship 08-03-2007, 03:22 AM Have you had any funny experiences recently at Disneyland?
Feel free to post them here!
EDIT* Feel free to post funny experiences from WDW or any other Disney theme park!
Here's a couple of mine:
When I was on the Alice in Wonderland ride and the other Fantasyland dark rides with my friends, we were bored. So for fun, we decided to scream at random stuff during the ride. So when we were at Alice in Wonderland, when we saw the flowers and other characters, we started to scream LOUD. There were people behind us, and saw us. Then when we got to the part where you go outside on the leaf bridge, we put our hands in the air, like we would do on a roller c:oaster. Right when the ride finished, the people behind us gave us this weird look. I know it's weird, but hey, we had fun! Isn't that what we're suppose to have when we're at the happiest place on earth? :D
Another funny experience we had was right before the Parade of Dreams began. It was around 10 minutes before the parade, the time where they begin to clear the streets for the parade. Well, there was a janitor in the middle of the street cleaning up. He was pretty much alone with everyone staring at him. Then out of the blue, everyone started applauding him and cheering for him. Some even gave a standing ovation. It was so random... :)
JustOh 08-03-2007, 03:27 AM I was in the parade about 10 times. :) I loved using the pin to get more pins
Goofyono 08-03-2007, 03:54 AM I freaked at the snow white ride and I was with my friend .. I stuck my hands out and the witch touched me at the part where she comes out of the door really fast.. me and my friend screamed the WHOLE time. Whe thought we were the only ones in the cart but when we got off the ride, there were to random ppl behind us in the four person cart lol
puchisana 08-03-2007, 04:04 AM When the parade starts, i went with some characters to dance in the middle of it, and i continued till parade finished
TikiRoom 08-03-2007, 04:21 AM Not really. And you would think... oh wait. I have a good one, but ti's long:
Okay, I was with my aunt and sister and we were in DCA riding GRR. My second cousin and mom were waiting off the ride. we were going to go see the fireworks afterwards (it was during the 50th). We had walkie-talkies for some odd reason. So, we were at the last drop, where you spin down, and there were a few boats stopped in front of us. Okay, they just need to wait so they don't hit the one that went before them. But no, they didn't go down. So, we were up there for a good 45 minutes while they drained out ALL the water. But, thank goodness we had those walkie-talkies. So, we got some fastpasses, and got to go through the "secret portal". Ooooo, scary. And we got into Disneyland when Julie Andrews started talking. Got pretty bad spots, but that's okay. It was so fun because the second boat said to the first boat, "We will push you guys down!" Funny funny.
Debonair 08-05-2007, 08:25 PM Hmmmm...Let's see.
I remember when I was maybe, 8. A CM asked me if I wanted to talk to Goofy and he brought me up to this phone where Goofy sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It wasn't even my Birthday.
Then, one time on Thunder Mountain (a couple years ago), I got stuck on the last uphill (the one w/ the falling rock.) They stopped the ride, and I was stuck with my party in our seats for around 10 minutes. Then, everyone else on the ride was screaming and taking photos, and we got to walk back through some under ground area where it led us to the place with all the bats.
Another time (on the same ride) was where this guy that was sitting behind me was screaming "We're going uphill!" everytime we went uphill. It was really funny.
GreatGatsby 08-07-2007, 04:04 AM Back in the days of the Skyway, I had a friends who would wait until toward the end, as he was approaching the station, and he'd look down and yell, "BOB!!"
There was always a Bob somewhere in the crowd, so someone one would up. My friend would yell again - this time at that person - "BOB! WAIT RIGHT THERE!!"
This patsy Bob would wait, so my friend would get off, rush up to him, stop, then say, "Oh, I'm sorry. I don't know you." He'd then simply walk away.
Rumor is they closed the Skyway specifically to stop him from doing that.

Galaxee 08-07-2007, 04:19 AM Nice thread! I have plenty of good stories.
You know those dream ears that they have now? I was looking for a pair; I wanted those so badly! Luckily, I saw a group of Japanese tourists that had a few pairs. I thought, "heh, a year and a half of Japanese is going to pay off". But I kept having to tell them that I didn't understand what they were saying. Heh, they got so tired of me they just gave me a pair! SCORE!!
Of course, I said "domo arigatou gozaimasu" [thank you very much] to them. :D
My 6-year-old neighbour remembered the Space Mountain song [although not very well, as I soon discovered], and he would sing "do do do dododo dododo AHHH!" at random times when I was over at their house. The "AHHH!" is where he screamed, haha. So, in line waiting for Space Mountain, I started singing that at random times.
By the way, I memorized the actual Space Mountain song. And I mean, MEMORIZED. So whenever I am bored I just play it over and over in my mind and imagine I'm riding the ride. Hehe.
Then there is the time that my dad and I got everyone in our elevator at Tower of Terror to smile and wave at the camera.
Then there is the time I held up a Coca-Cola bottle to the camera at Splash Mountain, smiling like I was in an advertisement. Hehe...
Then there is the tape of me literally ******** out on the Sun Wheel. I thought it was the scariest thing, and the other people in the gondola were laughing along with my parents. I was fairly old, too. >_<
Then my dad recently found an old picture of my cousin [about 3 at the time] showing off his muscles to an impressed/shocked Mulan.
I've got lots more...
mickey0794 08-07-2007, 05:07 AM ok 2 years ago on the its a small world ride ( WDW ) we got stuck, for 2 hours!! the music kept playing and nearly drove everyone on the ride CRAZY! we couldn't get out bc of the water @_@ so we sat there for about 2 hours and 7 minutes till the ride moved again and i HATE the its a small world song now
TheFireworkZach 08-07-2007, 05:31 AM Well, I can't stay this story is funny but it is a story so get over it. :) I went to Disneyland in May to do Disney Magic Music Days and the end of the first day was almost over. It was 8:30 and DCA closes at nine but we were coming from Backstage Disney (behind Toontown) and had to get to Paradise Pier which are both at the back of their parks.
So when we went back into the park at 8:30, about 20 kids just started sprinting to get a final ride on California Screamin'. I am a pretty fast runner so I was in the top 5 all the way around the Matterhorn and just to our luck, Main Street was jammed because of the darn fireworks. So all of us kids were running on the thin sidewalk on the Tomorrowland side trying to get out of the park.
I was the first kid to the plaza so I decided to just wait until I saw someone because I heard yelling in the backround and I thought we were busted. When I saw some people I just kept on running to DCA and was the second into the gates. Ran towards the Hollywood area and got completly lost. I eventually found the way and headed towards Paradise Pier. Ran across the bridge got to California Screamin', tired as ever and waited.
Got in the single riders line and had a great ride on California Screamin', then finshed off the night at DCA with the last ride of the day on Maliboomer (they didn't let anyone on after us) and went back to CROWDED Disneyland).
My mom also got stuck on Small World for 20 minutes. The worst part is that she was stuck with a bunch of 12/13 year old girls. That would be the ultimate nightmare in my opinion.

VMKGIRL_ms.nessbeth 08-07-2007, 04:37 PM We all ways go to disneyland in the summer but one time it was funny becuz we were waiting in line at the pirates of the carribiean ride and i dared me friend to say aww the ride is closed so everyone left!! the ride ppl didnt know so we went on it like 5 times with no line LOL
LordIllidan 08-07-2007, 05:30 PM Back in the days of the Skyway, I had a friends who would wait until toward the end, as he was approaching the station, and he'd look down and yell, "BOB!!"

And hence, it's also your friend's fault (Although possibly indirectly) that they closed down the Peoplemover/Rocket Rods :P I bet it's secretly his fault I can't ever hit a single target while attempting to dual-wield whenever I get a whole car to myself on the Buzz Lightyear Astro-Blasters.
Seriously... It makes no sense. I get a rather decent score with one gun, so surely I should get an above-decent score with two!
In all seriousness, though...
Best Disneyland Moment EVAH: Riding Big Thunder Mountain only to have the ride break down on that small turn between the mini-town at the end and the loading dock. They had us sit there for quite a while before they decided to just let us off and walk the last 5 feet or so of the ride. I was 7 or so back then, so I'm not sure if our wait was closer to 5 or 60 minutes, but I assure you: It was long and pointless :P
la4gator 08-07-2007, 05:56 PM this is an interesting thread :)
I went to WDW and i did the vmk quests to do the insider tour. i booked my name at the fire house and all of that jazz on Dec. 12. The next day i got to vmk central and i end up being told that my name isnt on the list for the tour. i say yes i did and i checked in at the firehouse. ithis continues and i just give up. a person at the desk comes up to me when the tour leaves and gives me the cards i would of gotten. im so grateful that he did that. im glad i got the cards because the insider tour ended at the end of the year. few!
i have another one. im in line for buzzlightyear astro blasters in DLR. i get on the ride and im getting on the vehical. in the middle of the ride the power goes out lol. ppl are all screaming going yeah yeah!!! the power comes back on. the rides goes on. it happens again. the power goes out again lol. this happens 2 more times. at the end of the ride it say i have 999,999.
Sushi 08-07-2007, 06:56 PM When we went to Disneyland, on the Small World me and my friends started singing the small world song. We sounded terrible. (so off-key) xD
(None of my friends knew english, so we were singing it in Japanese. Which made it worse..)
Then this guy stood up and yelled "Hey, Shut up!" :@@:
Then in WDW while we were in the Haunted Mansion, all of these guys started making animal noises during the ride. There were elephant, horse, and duck noises. They were pretty good too, so we decided to add on and made monkey noises.
- In Space mountain, I was wearing a Mickey Hat and it flew off and hit this guy behind me in the face.
- On Fast Track the ride stopped and we were stuck for an hour, so we decided to sing random disney songs.
- When I was 8 years old I went to Tokyo Disneyland. Chip and Dale were there, so I went past the line to go see them. I apparently bugged Chip, and he pushed me away! He pushed me down! So I started crying, and Chip, Dale, Eeyore, and even Mickey Mouse came out to sign my signature book. xD
- In the Buzz Lightyear ride, I almost fell out trying to shoot an alien.
- I got stuck on the Dinosaur ride. It shut down right when the T-Rex thing appears. I couldn't stop screaming.
Galaxee 08-07-2007, 07:08 PM Haha, and of course there is the best story of mine:
It was our last day at Disneyland, and I really wanted to see the ASIMO robot show. My dad and I looked at the line for Innoventions and decided that we weren't going to make it before the show started. Unfortunately, my dad had an idea.
He said to me, "Let's just walk up the exit ramp. If we get caught, we'll just say that we forgot our camera."
I just stood there with a blank look.
But we actually did it. We just started walking up the exit ramp. A cast member was coming down the ramp, and looked like he was going to stop us, but my dad just kept on walking, so I just trudged along after him. The cast member had this really weird look on his face.
Someone was coming out the door at the top, so we just caught it, and we went inside. We actually did make it to the show, and it was pretty cool. And we never got caught either. XD
smrtfriendship 08-07-2007, 07:42 PM And hence, it's also your friend's fault (Although possibly indirectly) that they closed down the Peoplemover/Rocket Rods :P I bet it's secretly his fault I can't ever hit a single target while attempting to dual-wield whenever I get a whole car to myself on the Buzz Lightyear Astro-Blasters.

Haha, I know what you mean! I got my own Buzz Cart on the ride twice when I went on, so I had two guns to myself. First time, I decided to use one, and I got a decent score. Second time I went, I used both guns, and for some strange reason, I had a much higher score than the first.
Odd how I do better with two guns! :D
DizCaptain 08-07-2007, 09:42 PM Heres some rather funny/odd experiences at WDW. Just a note we acted annoying in these and some were just jokes.
- During the briefing of Soarin my sister and I were bored so we decided to make of the briefing with some things that were rather noticeable and we were annoying. So during the briefing when the man takes off his mickey ears we went "AHA He's Bald..." then whenever they buckled up we went "Oh... So that's how you buckle a seat belt!" People were laughing in an annoyed tone, even a few cast members starting to crack...
-On Splash Mountain I got stuck and our entire car was single riders and we didn't know eachother AT ALL. So while we were stuck for 15 minutes on the final hill (yes with the buzzards) we sang kumbaya as little kids in the car in front of us were crying :) Then we got a picture together after the song was over to commemerate our meeting.
-I was going on Test Track with some friends we see every Thanksgiving while were there and we decided for the barrier test to put on sunglasses and when we were about to put them on they fell out of our hands outside >_<.
-This is probably one of the most fun times I've had at WDW. My sister and I were in a monorail car to EPCOT by ourselves and they were playing Part Of Your World so we sang and danced to epcot while people were looking at us at the stop. It was embarassing and fun.
Here one I witnessed:
-During the Stretching room at the Haunted Mansion, this lady was hitting on one of the cast members and he finally cracked up from his serious look and had to turn away until the doors opened.
Lol those aren't even all of them!
smrtfriendship 08-07-2007, 11:14 PM Oh, I just remembered another story! It's on the Disney Cruise though.
When me and a family member were on the elevators (Oh, those loooooong elevators), we got bored. The Disney Cruise Ship is a very large ship, and we were coming from the bottom floor, going to the top deck. As we went up, my relative started making faces at people through the elevator window. He thought no one noticed, until he saw that this girl actually noticed his facial expressions and made a face back at him. :D
GreenGirlJess 08-07-2007, 11:38 PM I've only been to WDW, but I do have some funny stories.
[x] Once, back when I was five or six, my hair was in pigtails and I was posing with Chip and Dale. One of them picked up my pigtails for the picture, and I was like, "Woahhh."
[x] When we go on the people mover, the ever so unpopular ride which I happen to be in love with, we just ask if we can stay on and we always can, so we always ride it like, 5 or 6 times in a row. And every time we do, we {mostly me unless I have a friend} wave frantically at people down below.
[x] The last time I went on the Small World ride [we wanted to see it redone] there was a little girl, probably 2 or 3, in front of us and she was standing up. Her dad had his hands on her butt and was wiggling her around, then he stopped and she put her own hands on her butt and made her wiggle. It was so funny, my mom and I had the hardest time NOT laughing.
[x] In 5th grade, we got to go behind the scenes of the Haunted Mansion, and they told us not to pass the yellow line, and we kept on sticking our feet over the yellow line. xDD
[x] Ohmygosh. At EPCOT, my family [brother, mom, dad and me] were coming out of the coke igloo, right? So this caveman walks out of the bushes, and starts following us. My brother and I are scared witless and so humilated, but my mom was like, going along with it. Then when we were going into a building, the caveman was like, "WOMANNN!" And my mom was screaming back at him, "MANNN!" It was so embarassing.
[x] We were going into Magic Kingdom, and a CM greeted us. He was all, "Hi my name is yada. Welcome to the Magic Kingdom. We are going to have a lot of fun" etc etc, and walked with us until there was a line in the pavement, then he stopped and said, "I can't go any further." ANd my mom was like, "Oh come on, not even one foot??" It was so funny.
I can't really remember that many more, but I'm sure if I thought hard I'd have a ton of stories, thus I've been going to Disney all my life.

So it was your friend that hollered that at my dad huh? JK!
Easily the best story posted so far :) Any other good stories?
coolJamz 08-08-2007, 02:45 AM alright alright my turn.
when i was seven, we went to the thanksgiving dinner with the characters ( this is in disneyworld by the way)
i had just started collecting pins, and i only had five, a chip and dale 1, a mickey mouse 1, a donald 1, a WDW 1, and a minnie mouse 1.
goofy came up to us, and we took pictures and signed autographs, and at the end he pointed at my pins, and he pointed at his face, then he put his hands on his hips, and tapped his toe, giving my dad an evil look
LOL
GoodPolarGirl 08-08-2007, 02:57 AM hehe, all of these stories are like so funny.
One time when i was at WDW, i went to get my picture taken with Baloo. U no how the disney characters always like play around with you and stuff? yea, Baloo was playing around with my braid. He was like lifting it up for the picture. but the second before my mom got a picture, he put my braid down. And I was all like haha!! and stuff because he put my braid down a sec before the pic.
Do you no how goofy and pluto have to set the autograph book on their nose to sign it? Yea, when they did that, i started giggling like so hard. They look kinda funny with a book set out on their nose :D
My sister is like totally scared of heights and stuff. We didnt trust my sister alone but we all wanted to go on soaring (i am reffering to my family). So, we took my sister on soaring to see how she would react. She screamed her head off the whole entire ride!! It was so hilarious.
When me and my dad rode mission space, we were with these ppl who spoke spanish. Then when they couldn't understand what to do for the ride when we were on it, (I was like 8) I was yelling " Dad, we're gonna crash!! They dont understand English!!" And then my dad's all like "It's a ride!!" And then I'm like, oh yea, i knew that. hehe. (I mean, it is so realistic)
flaxygirl 08-08-2007, 04:08 AM These are so funny!
Matthieu... 08-21-2007, 12:44 AM One time, I was watching a guy in Tomorrowland. He ran from Star Tours (Which the rest of his family was in line for) to Astro Blasters to get something or put something away, and then he ran back to Star Tours. Of course, the rest of his family went in Star Tours without him.

LOL! HAHA!! Im so gonna do that now when i got to theme parks! Omg LOL FUNNY!!
Matthieu... 08-21-2007, 01:00 AM LOL Thats gold. :)
lightningzoom 09-02-2007, 04:58 PM I remember hearing some laughter at the Haunted Mansion dead center pun/joke on the stretching room.
This isn't actually funny but I got 2 cast lanyard pins from the same CM after exiting Autopia. :D
This one time when we were on Space Mountain where you know when you're next to go in the actual ride, and your in front of the little window with the CM? Well, this one guy just screamed and a few people jumped.
This one time I actually saw Roger Taylor from Queen when we were in line for SM. Queen is my favorite. It was so cool. He was a about maybe 20 people ahead of us in the loading dock part of the line.

LOL. When i went on soaring a bit back, somone screamed that and i almost peed in my pants. HAH thats funny.
-----
I have some, all at WDW..
- Once i went on Haunted Mansion with my dad, and you know how when you get in the doom buggy and the CM on the oppsite side who is checking that your ready to go tries and scares you. Well when he came by and was about to put his face in our buggy and go BOO! My dad went BUAHA! REALLY LOUD, and the CM jumped backwards. haha that was funny.
- Another time in HM when i was little Me and my dad were first in line right infront of the doors, and I was like " IM NOT GONNA BE SCARED!" over and over again. Then as soon as the guy wipped the doors opened i screamed AHHH! so loud then said "OH MY GOD. YOU STINK." while laughing and i made everyone in line laugh including the Doorman. hah.
- ohhh, and another time was when we went to chef mickeys with my granny and she was in a booth and was eating food. Then goofy put his hands over my grandmas eyes when she was about to cut her food with a knife and my grandma goes OH MY! and is waving the knife around like a lunitic, then goofy puts his hands over his mouth and walks away. LOL then he comes back to take pics and stuff
i have more just cant remember :)
DinoVan 09-02-2007, 09:20 PM I freaked at the snow white ride and I was with my friend .. I stuck my hands out and the witch touched me at the part where she comes out of the door really fast.. me and my friend screamed the WHOLE time. Whe thought we were the only ones in the cart but when we got off the ride, there were to random ppl behind us in the four person cart lol
ROFL..
I wonder if i would get in trouble for touching it too..people steal stuff off that ride!
PrincessTiffani 09-02-2007, 10:29 PM My story
Not THAT funny
I was 8, - first and only time i was as DL- and i was scared of POTC ride so i needed A 10-13 year old to tell me when it was going to go down, and i held as hard as i could to the railing and i liked it! Unfortanantly it was the first and only time i was on that ride bc it was our last day :(!
I was 8, same day and place, and it was my first time on Haunted Mansion... No not the only. I was scared and NO i didn't see the skeleton on the ceiling... When i saw it was a ride i cried andi said " What if it goes upside down!" then my mom said " If it does ill get you another Build a Bear"

Sorry but the build a bear one is kinda funny..
Nemofinder 09-03-2007, 04:43 AM Well, mine is from WDW. We were on the Rockin' Rollercoaster and it was (as always) a long line. so we decided to go in the single riders. Well there were people below us and, to keep each other from falling asleep I guess, they started yelling back and forth "yeeow!! Oh Yeah!! Whoo!!" so I started joining along. It drove alot of people crazy. But, somebody had to ruin the fun and tell a CM and threw them out of line. I stopped immedietly after that.
Destination 09-03-2007, 04:53 AM LOL! Like in 2002 when I went to Disneyland with my cousins, grandparents, and everybody. My cousins and I decided to go on the Alice in Wonderland ride by ourselfs and through out the whole ride we were screaming our lungs out and when we got outside when you get to the part where you go back and forth we were still screaming and then the ride attentdant lady went on the PA system thing and said "Please, Stop Screaming!" to us! LOL it was so funny!
Stemaboat_Tyler 09-03-2007, 01:43 PM LOL nice stories, but mine are better...
We were waiting in the Haunted mansion at WDW and a little kid kept screaming ' I Don't Wanna Go!! '
Me and my dad got of the tower of terror and my dad said to the Bellhop ' HELLLOOO ' and the lady gave him a look....
on the Rock and roller coaster, when the band started the music, me and my cousin were screaming ' Ya For Aerosmith! Woot ' and then someone told us to shut up....
oh yea i forgot 1
when we were waiting for the Fantasmic show to start everyone started to do the ' Wave ' it was so fun
thundermtkid 09-03-2007, 05:33 PM 1. When I was a toddler, I hated Pirates of the Caribbean because of the drop. Whenever I went on It's A Small World, I was afriad they added a drop since the last time I had been!
2. Whenever I go on the Winnie the Pooh ride, my sister and I start screaming when we enter the building. Once I saw some people looking at us with an annoyed look on their face. :D
3. I was riding Tower of Terror and my sister and I were waiting for our elevator. Anyway, my sister had her back to the elevator and was talking to me. When she turned around the doors opened and the bellhop was right there in front of her! She jumped and gave out a little yell. It was really funny!
Great thread! Funny stuff! :)
SweetAdelline 09-03-2007, 09:02 PM I have so many, but..
My friends and I went to Disneyland for the exact 50th anniversary (July 17th, 2005) and they were giving out free birthday cupcakes to all the guests. We got a few of them when we stopped in to eat at the Pizza Port and saved them for dessert. One of my guy friends started eating his cupcake after the meal and accidentally got some of the white frosting stuck in his beard, and we all thought it was pretty funny. Then, playing off our laughter, he started smearing the stuff all over his face and we even have a picture of him with the entire cupcake stuck on his face, being held only by frosting.
After he was done, he decided not to wash it off and instead walked into the park with it all over his face, and pretended like he didn't know, and we were cracking up at all the looks people gave him. He probably had it on for about an hour before finally cleaning it off, and during this time he was going up to complete strangers with a mini tape recorder and posing as a "Disneyland Junior Reporter", asking people random questions, and acting like everything was nice and normal. One kid actually stopped him in the middle of the questioning and said, "Uh, you have something in your beard," and my friend said, "Oh I know, some of the hairs grow in red instead of brown, it's weird," and then just continued with the interview as if nothing had happened. It was incredibly stupid but incredibly funny.
DinoVan 09-03-2007, 10:15 PM Im gonna dance around disneyland acting crazy...its fun!
Lol..
I dont remember half the haunted mansion ride cause i was scared!
I was like ten when i rode it too!!

STITCH_aVMKlover 10-12-2007, 02:38 PM Once.. when i was like 7, i was at WDW and at chef mickey's. so chip and dale come over and chip like pulls my piggy tails up....
this one isn't THAT funny but whatever. so i was 9 and i was at the Crystal palace (WDW) to eat and like all the characters were there. We kept trying to get them but they were like obviously making us wait. and we never got to see them..
Once i was on tower of terror at WDW and were were in the room right before you get in the line to go on an elevator. and we were watching the little twilight zone clip. A bellhop walks up to me staring at me. and i dont notice it cuz im watch tv.. so my dad is like, "he wants you.." and i thought i was in trouble and about to kicked off. and i looked at him and i started screaming really loud. Everyone looked over and started laughing..
Once i was in the line to get in the ' tv ' room on tower of terror. and me my mom were in the lobby. (i was like 8) And she was like, "go touch the stuff!" and i got out of line and started going everywhere it was scary. some people looked over though..
My cousin works at universal studios at magarita ville. and omg. Katharine McPhee came!! Unfortunately, she spilled her drank all over herself. she was all, "Oh dont worry! its no big deal!" and she was sweet about it.
OMG!! sorry i gotta stop now my cat is pusing the hamster cage..
LaurenThePrincess 10-23-2007, 10:18 PM ok here's a few.
I was going on tower of terror with my dad and the ride wasn't even starting and I was yelling oh my god I'm gonna die ah! and my dad started to laugh.
I was riding California screaming with my cousins and me and my cousins started yelling oh yeah nachos!
I was with my cousins and my cousin's bf's niece and his niece saw woody from far away and got excited and then she went up to him and looked at him and ran away crying.
ok this is something I'm gonna do. I'm gonna put on a hat and sunglasses and make it look like I'm a celeb then my cousins will walk over and have me take a picture with them and sign something and see what people do.
Destination 11-17-2007, 05:44 AM Ok, so when I went to Disneyland in the summer with just my dad and I. We spent like I think 3 nights down there. 2 at the parks and 1 night at Downtown disney and stuff. So we decided to go to Downtown disney on the first day. We went to the ESPN Zone, and we went to that gaming floor and there was this putting game. I saw the putter attached to this cable and the golf ball half way on the green or whatever. And so I was laying on the ground and I took the club and I jammed it in the game, trying to hit the ball. And I hit it, and the ball flew around in the game, and it spun around the top of the hole and then all of a sudden an alarm went of. And like my dad is just standing there watching me. And I got so scared so we got up and we like left the place. LOL It was so funny!
luckyone 11-17-2007, 06:07 AM when i went to DCA we were on the tower of terror and i had a pin lanyard so i dont wanted than my pins go all over the place and i appear in the photo like me being very patriotic :) is so funny!
Stemaboat_Tyler 11-17-2007, 12:57 PM When We were on The Rock And roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Me and my cousin kept on singing Aerosmith songs, and at the middle of the ride, everyone started singing, while the other car kept screaming @_@
My cousin is afraid of big birds when they come by him, so every time my uncle saw a duck or a bird, he'd go " Look, Jeremy. A Duck " rofl and then we were waiting in line for splash mountain, and a duck was right behind him, and he said " Not falling for that one again " and he saw it and wouldn't stop screaming....
On Mission Space, I was the head person, so I kept saying to my crew. " OK Gentlemen. We are taking of shortly " and kept off giving commands.
Every time we go on HM, it gets stuck o_o
luckyone 11-18-2007, 04:46 PM one time in WDW and my mom was in a wheel chaor bc she was very tired so when we enter HM they let us in by the back door and stop the ride just to she get up in the car ;)
bluepopstar 11-18-2007, 11:15 PM Well, this isn't very much funny, more exciting. I was with someone and we were about to go on Misson: Space. There was a 30 minute wait, and impatient me decided that I wanted to get a fastpass. The person I was with and a worker told me that I should just go on because the line was to long. I said no and I put whatever in to get a pass. Out came a certificate! I was the rider of the day! I got to go to wear it's like a fake set up of a control room, and I got on the ride with no wait! It was so cool. I find it funny that I didn't wait 30min and listen to the people because I'm so impatient. It was all pretty cool. More a lucky experience than I funny one I suppose.
This was at WDW though, never been to Disneyland.
Captain Kool 11-18-2007, 11:31 PM Not really.
(breaks out in tears) I ENVY YOU! Julie Andrews was there talking?? You are officialy the luckiest person in the entire world, you and everyone else watching those fireworks that day.
About two years ago I was at Disney Land with my family, and a seagull dropped a pizza on the guy in the Mickey Mouse suit, and a bird landed on him trying to eat the pizza.
Stemaboat_Tyler 11-18-2007, 11:48 PM (breaks out in tears) I ENVY YOU! Julie Andrews was there talking?? You are officialy the luckiest person in the entire world, you and everyone else watching those fireworks that day.

rofl that is SO Funny rofl. When I was with my cousin, I saw Donald, and I was all like '' Omg it is Donald!! " so i ran up to him and kept screaming " omg it is Donald!! " rofl
Pinkglitter 11-18-2007, 11:52 PM In WDW Last Year My friend and i was at magic Kingdom During The Halloween Party So we started eatting it on the winnie the pooh ride and then we started screaming for no reason it was fun
Captain Kool 11-19-2007, 08:41 PM In WDW Last Year My friend and i was at magic Kingdom During The Halloween Party So we started eatting it on the winnie the pooh ride and then we started screaming for no reason it was fun
Wait, what were you eating? Your foot?
LaurenThePrincess 12-22-2007, 09:13 PM ok on Sorin' over california, I was with my bffs and I yelled spider pig and my friend yelled spider pig and all of us started singing does whatever a spider pig does. can he swing from a web? no he can't he's a pig. look out here comes spider pig! and this old lady yelled shut up! at us! when we got off we started laughing so hard that we started crying!

Zebraa 01-02-2008, 11:55 PM One time, I was in Disneyland with my best friend, and we were going on California Screamin', but the line was too long, so we decided to ride single rider (8 times). One time, I sat next to some random guy and he asked me seriously if I was going to ruin his ride picture. I was like, "Uh, no.."
frozenfire 01-13-2008, 07:36 AM a funny time we had was when we got stuck on pirates of the caribbean,
for two hours >_< but everytime the CM's made an annoucement the donkey would wail, or whatever the donkey does when it speaks , lol
- we were in the burning town scene right next to the three ppl singing yoho yoho
@_@ i will never forget the words to that song now, but i still love the song :)
and the funniest thing was that night i was sleep singing! ( i know i didn't know it existed either)
i sang yoho yoho a pirates life for me while i was in bed! lol my parents came over to me and filmed me ! LOL
i look so werid ;)
Mooshu 01-21-2008, 03:55 PM Hmm, when I was on the Indiana Jones ride, I was in the front row next to this dude that got the seat with the steering wheel.
I guess he thought he was driving.
He was trying to turn the steering wheel. @.@
Rodolfito 01-25-2008, 07:38 AM Hmm, when I was on the Indiana Jones ride, I was in the front row next to this dude that got the seat with the steering wheel.
I guess he thought he was driving.
He was trying to turn the steering wheel. @.@
Ha that was probably me! I always ask for drivers seat and get it :D
And I pretend to be driving, its pretty fun actually.
One time on splash mountain we got to sit next to some girls that totally freaked out through the whole ride! They screamed every time we fell and they wouldn't be quiet, and of course I joined into the screaming and then when we were at the last part of the ride the announcer goes on and says log Number 13 calm down (that was our log) so we just laughed till the end of the ride :D
During new years eve a while ago when we were waiting for the parade, they handed out a bunch of hats, so some dude that had like 50 of them so he decided to go into the parade track skipping around and throwing hats! Everyone applauded :D
LaurenThePrincess 02-01-2008, 02:19 AM I saw the characters doing the soulja boy dance well to be more specific, goofy and pluto! lol
avastkeith 02-02-2008, 06:46 AM Hmm I've been to disneyland around 20 times so this should be easy.
funny moment number 1: Old lady in pigtales and sunglasses starts to enthusiastically clap to the parade music and starts doing hand gestures like she's in the parade (she was sitting on the curb viewing it lol) you kind of had to be there.
funny moment number 2: When the parade of dreams started, like always, the peter pan train float appeared.
WARNING THIS IS SHOCKING!
Tinkerbell was a man O_o i didn't want to believe it but i couldn't help but notice.
funny moment number 3: It's a small world breaks down and the music is STILL playing after being stuck in our boat for 45 minutes.
Cast member on ride speakers:
"we will now turn off the ride music"
trapped people:
*clapping and cheering*
yeah there's plenty more where that came from but that's good enough for now
Epcotfans 02-10-2008, 03:21 AM i go to Walt Disney World a lot so here is a space mountain story i have had: me and my friends were waiting in line right before u do downhill in line so we got on the pole and slide down right before we got stopped by a cast member if not we run down it speedy fast!
Mooshu 03-12-2008, 02:03 AM Ah, I was on the Haunted Mansion Ride and on the part when the Doom Buggies go down backwards, my friend reached out and knocked really hard on the back of the other Doom Buggy in front of us which held my other two friends. Haha. =D
DiamondMeme 03-12-2008, 05:10 AM I saw the characters doing the soulja boy dance well to be more specific, goofy and pluto! lol
OMg!! LOL that would be sooooooooo funny! I would've been laughing my head off
BanannaSplitzer 03-12-2008, 07:48 AM This Is What Happened To Me: Last Year At Disneyland(i Was Kinda Sick)I Felt Felt Like If I Was Gonna Barf,Then Me And My Mom Went Out Of The Line(For Jungle Cruise)Then We Went To A Shop Across JC And Got A Bag
At The Bazar(DLR)Then We Had To Shortcut Everyone And Go Under A Few Ropes Then Catched Up With My Dad&Brother. It's A Little weird
KAITYkaityKAITY 04-03-2008, 11:48 PM OMG, these are awesome! OOh OOh my turn!
1 (I was like 8 here) In Epcot (in WDW) it was like 12 midnight and my family was just leaving the Rose and Crown resteraunt (bad speller) in England (The park had closed and we figured since we were eating, they could'nt make us leave) so we were walking back and I ran ahead of the rest of my family (my mom was a little ahead of us) and ran towards the big fountain and all of a sudden when I was right next to it it sprang to life and the fountain went on and there was a crash right when the music started and I go scared to death and screamed at the top of my lungs and took off runing - right into a flower bush (It was at night and I couldn't see) and ended up scraping my knee really badly on the curb. The CM in the place where you rented strollers came and asked what happened LOL She gave me a band-aid. IT WAS HILARIOUS AND PAINFUL. I can't help but laugh whenever I think about it!
2 When I was 6 in DLR we went on the Matterhorn (with my Mom Dad and Sister) and just as we were going around a big curve at the top of the mountain (it was outside) and all of a sudden the ride stopped and we waited, and waited, and waited until a CM came and got us. We had to go through this hidden secret door and we went through all these technical rooms (I was too young to remember details) and the family that was stuck with us took a pic of us stuck, on the ride. (It was tricky getting down because the dad in the other family's leg was broken 0_0)
EDIT- 3 When I was 4 I went on HM for the first time, there is a part where scary jack-in-the-boxes pop out and I started crying really loudly I got so scared. I went on the ride after that, but was scared until I was about 9 and still to this day close my eyes and plug my ears during that part :p
If me thinks of more me will post :D
Have a magical day, :balloon:
Kaity :wave2:
Vienna 05-08-2008, 01:20 AM Ok. Well on Tower of Terror in DCA, i ran to get there, all the way from California Screamin to ToT, this guy was looking at me like i was some kind of freak for screaming "OMG! Tower of Terror! Twilight Zone dont leave me!" Then Rachel and I were all talking inside the celler, b4 the ride all saying we were going to be in the front of the ride and have a stupid face in the picture, but instead, we were in the BACK and my sister palkiasurfergirl (ashley) covered my face! I was sooo ticked off because that was my favorite ride!! LOL
ok on the matterhorn in DLR it was one of the OMG HILARIOUS Moments.
Ok the really cheesy Yeti which was like only 4'10 or something reminded us of my teacher Miss Anders and my friends started laughing like crazy! then on the curve I said DRAT and im like "I SAID A BAD WORD!!!!!!" and it echoed all over the ride1 it was sooooooo funny this CM was looking at me like i was a freak or something! LOL
OK on Splash Mountain
I was getting on the ride it was log number 11 i think... anyways, the speaker said the safety blah and then the Have a Zipadeedooda Ride! and then me and Rachel yelled back: YOU HAVE A ZIPADEEDOODA RIDE!!!!! then after the ride started i screamed every 5 seconds for nothing! the log behind us was all SHUT UP!!! LOL ROFL
Back to Tower of Terror:
The Bellhop was all like: If something bad happens feel free to scream and I'm all like: Dont You Guys, Even Though You have a cool outfit, have better lines?! LOL
And On Big Thunder Mountain.,, i lost my voice from Splash Mountain so my friend Rachel was my offical screamer. LOL
GoodPolarGirl 05-08-2008, 01:40 AM I saw the characters doing the soulja boy dance well to be more specific, goofy and pluto! lol
You should have danced with them! I love the soulja boy dance!
MLKnCookies 05-08-2008, 01:46 AM Seven of my friends and I were on Splash Mountain. When it came to the fake big drop we all screamed. When we arrived at the big drop, we screamed so loud that we saw people point and laugh at us. So many people were staring at us. Quite funny...
KikiBozu 05-31-2008, 05:44 AM Well, this wasn't recent, but I was a VIP at the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and I got to walk the red carpet, which led to Frontierland. We were in Frontier SUPER early, and the cast members were so bored. All of a sudden we saw pirate Goofy lean over a railing and pretend he was throwing up. The rest of the cast members yelled stuff like "gross!" or "get a little seasick there, Goofy?" :)
groovysqirrel 06-17-2008, 04:00 AM Any time I go with my friends it's a blast. We can joke around (with limits - me being a disney fan), and just be little kids again.
Whenever I go I always get a kick out of me on the Buzz Ride. On the pictures I always look so intense and stressed, like "I must get those points! Grrr!!" Especially since I can't get past 331,000. @_@
I recently went with a bunch of friends and we had a wonderful time at Star Tours. We were going back to the younger days and acting like we knew everything about Star Wars, which we pretty much did way back in the day. On the ride we sat in the back of the vehicle and commented on everything. Silly things like "Wasn't his first flight last ride?" or "He still hasn't gotten used to his programing?" Silly us.
strikemaster 06-17-2008, 04:13 AM I was like three and it was my first time at Disneyland. My mum and I went along with my friend and his mum. He was three too. Anyways, I was scared of roller coasters. So, the two others want to go on the Jungle Cruise. I think it is a roller coaster and we go near it. So I scream and yell to get away. We get away. All the mean time there are old ladies in their 80's getting off. LOL! So, to make me feel better we all go to the tortilla stand at Disney's California Adventure when the ride finished for my friend and his mum. I get five tortillas. My friend steals and eats one. I am going mad because of it and am shoved in the stroller and we go to the shared hotel room (It was shared with the friends lol). When my friend takes a nap, I push him off his bed and take his place on the bed. Then he goes up to his mum and says "Mommy, we shouldn't have gone on the Haunted Mansion. The ghosts followed me back and pushed me off the bed, then gave *STRIKEMASTER* the bed. I Hate The Ghosts!" (Of course, it was a lot different due to the fact that he was three, he said it a bit differently lol). Then we went on the Haunted Mansion again, and he ended up knowing it was me who pushed him and why. I made him apologize to the ghosts. I still apologize to the ghosts whenever I see them (Yes, I am always a kid at heart lol). It wasn't very funny at the moment, but years later it is lol.
PMFan 06-17-2008, 04:21 AM Once while going back to the parking structure, The guy on the speaker asked for a " Disney " song. Then he started singing the Spongebob Squarepants Theme and by the time he got to this one part, he said " Jump out the TRAM and flop like a fish " Then he said " No, dont do that, i'd get in trouble! " It Was So Weird :-P!
PurpleCrazyLava 06-17-2008, 05:38 AM Ok so one time, we were on Grizzly Peak in California, and my sister at this time had a pink chocolate phone and she was around 16 or so and this girl like 10 or 11 pulls out her phone, and she had a pink chocolate too! So we all just looked at my sister and kinda laughed.
And one time, my brother when we were on Thunder Mountain, he was yelling {And he was a preteen, now he's a teen} WOO YEAH WOO!!! And throwing his hands out the car thingy for people to high five him and they did! Then the staff got mad at him.. And he kept doing it till my mom made him stop.
Another time... My family went on Tea Cups and my brother, {I usually call him Park} and when the ride ended he acted like he got off but he walked towards the exit and got in another tea cup! He kept doing that for a while... Maybe 3 other times so he rode it like 4 or maybe 5 times.
BanannaSplitzer 06-18-2008, 11:06 PM When I Went To Disneyland Right Before Fantasmic Everyone In The Crowd Did The Wave!
DiamondMeme 06-21-2008, 06:43 PM This happened a few years ago in WDW but when we were waiting for the parade to start, this family was sitting next to us and they started to get hungry. Then all of a sudden, I see a little 3 year old girl eating a huge corn dog the size of her arm! She tried to bite it but could not... lol
