Any idea what the max limit is?

Maybe it's like the friends limit which is 150

2 of my friends have reached the limit but i doubt they counted.

I know that it is not only space, but the actual number of items.

I was using a room to store all of my extra ice blocks. I reached the max at around 150, but there was PLENTY of room for more.

On the other hand, I have been into guest rooms, with so much cramed in them, that you cant see other players.

I have no idea why VMK does that to us. I wish you could put as much stuff in a room as you want. I think the limit is somewhere around 150 spaces, it doesn't necessarily go by items bc I was trying to put down my quest kiosk in my room and it said " reached max item limit" then I was able to put 2 more pirate thrones down instead of the kiosk.

the kiosk takes up more space then pirate thrones.

I'd think you could just keep putting furniture down until you run out of room... i'm not quite sure if there's a max. number.

There is a max limit, I hit it many many times.

I have not counted how many items fit but I do know it is different for each room. The rooms with more spaces (dark ride room) is able to hold alot more then rooms such as the Skull Rock. VMK does this for a reason, say those Typhoon Palm Trunks - In a dark ride room I would say you can fit easily 2,000+ of those (with stacking them of the limit 8 high). That would put to much on their server for one little room - and if everyone did that VMK would go down at least once everyday. Though, in my opinion it does need to be larger for some of the smaller rooms. It is almost the same as stacking, If I could put unlimited stacking high with unlimited room limit.. I could easily fit 10,000+ typhoon palm trunks in there.

So the answer to your question - Yes, there is a room limit. The bigger the room is, the bigger the limit. I also tested working with typhoon palm trunks vs. Mansion Tables and the palm trunks worked better and took up less room.

The maximum item limit 'tis what keeps me from expanding my aquarium.

Hard drives and storage aren't the problem, bandwidth is.

I concur as I have way more than 150 cubes in several different rooms. My cake alone has 292 ice cubes, 30 crates and other asst items. It's in a Tron room and did reach it's limit. However, I have another 200 cubes in my everest room and it has not reached it's limit. Therefore I believe it's a combination of room size and item size. :)
