I was wondering how people shoot in pirates, double click, use the arrow keys, or don't even play pirates.

Uhm I think using the mouse is difficult and confusing...I use arrow keys. :D

I double click using the mouse. But I sometimes use arrow keys, not often though.

It feels as though the arrow keys make shooting more accurate so i use them :)

I use the keys, a lot of the time, the mouse doesn't work for me.

The keys are more accurate for me. When I click, my ship moves that way too =0.

I use the keys. Im not coordnated enough to be able to shoot and move with the same things.

It may have all started with a mouse, but if you're a fan of accuracy and control, you gotta go with the keys.

When i'm on my labtop, i use the arrow keys.


Quick sidebar: It's actually a "laptop". Unless of course you have the type of personal computer that only works when being rested on the top of a dog or science facility, in which case I sincerely apologize.

Okay, can anyone tell me how to use the arrow keys?

You push either the right or left arrow keys twice while facing your target.

I use the arrow keys,, I find that by double clicking the mouse, it also moves the ship and alters your trajectory.

I don't play nor like pirates.

It makes it possible to shoot while doing erractic movement.

I honestly, use the mouse just because i am used to it although it would be easier for me to use the arrow keys so I guess I will try that. I will be UNSTOPPABLE! lol

I use the arrow keys. I tried using the mouse, but I only ended up moving my ship somewhere I didn't want it to go.

arrow keys, when i clicked it went the way i did not want, only on way.

The few times I have played pirates I have used the mouse to shoot. Maybe that is why I keep going round in circles and missing everything?!? :Tongue:

Mouse. It's easier to get right next to your oppoent and shoot rapidly until one of you die. xDD

when i was new i used to click but it kept moving my ship. now i use the arrow keys. much, much easier

Arrow keys. Always have and (probably) always will. Using the mouse confuses me.

I use the double click. I didn't know you could use the arrow keys..
But when i double click, it goes the wrong way and i keep clicking, then my ship starts going in circles, then i die.
