Our old policies on these were getting a bit out dated displayed here:

"Spamming" - "Spam" refers to posting identical and/or irrelevant messages to one thread or many different threads that has nothing to do with the intended subject that disrupts a thread or fills the message board with clutter. Mass PMing people you don't know or who haven't invited you to PM them, boosting post count, excessive bumping of threads (you are allowed one bump per thread every twenty-four (24) hours!), one or two letter replies (i.e. ok, LOL, Yes, agreed, nods) and excessive use of smileys as a response are all considered "spam".

"Irritating posting styles" - Use of all caps (indicates yelling), caps/lowercase variances (I wAnT A sEcReT fRiEnD) and excessive punctuation (yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) are both irritating and sometimes hard to read.

Updated versions:

"Spamming" - "Spam" refers to posting identical and/or irrelevant messages to one thread or many different threads that have nothing to do with the intended subject, or posts that disrupt a thread or fill the message board with clutter. Mass PMing people you don't know or who haven't invited you to PM them, posting for the sole purpose of boosting your post count, threads with the sole purpose of posting "what I did today..." (this is a forum, not a blog or chatroom), excessive bumping of threads (you are allowed one bump per thread twenty-four (24) hours after the last post created in the thread!), one or two letter replies (i.e. ok, LOL, Yes, agreed, nods), and excessive use of smileys as a response are all considered "spam".

"Irritating posting styles" - This refers to posting styles which make it hard to read and/or comprehend what a user is attempting to state on their post(s). Mods and other users must be able to read and understand what you are posting. Use of all caps (indicates yelling), caps/lowercase variances (I wAnT A sEcReT fRiEnD), poor color choices for their text vs. forums background colors (such as light blue text on a blue background), excessive punctuation (yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) or letter repetition in a word (Woooooooot!) are both irritating and sometimes hard to read. These types of posts will be removed from the forums or edited by a mod.

Ok but if you bump/double post too soon will it result in a warning or auto ban?

It's against the rules, isn't it?

Yea it is but the rules vary on the punishment, i.e. Flameing = Auto ban, Double Posting = Warning (the old part)...

Thanks for the update. But I have two questions. Why is light text such a problem? Is highlighting that much of a problem? And In my userpage, it is Dark blue font on black. It is a little hard to see. Can I keep that?

Our old policies on these were getting a bit out dated displayed here:

"Spamming"[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana] (you are allowed one bump per thread every twenty-four (24) hours!)

Updated versions:

"Spamming"[COLOR=black]](you are allowed one bump per thread twenty-four (24) hours after the last post created in the thread!)

It's still basically the same, but has been re-worded for clearification.
Yea it is but the rules vary on the punishment, i.e. Flameing = Auto ban, Double Posting = Warning (the old part)...That would depend on the mod and your user history of violations.

so if you have two threads you can bump each of them every 24 hours?
