ive been playing vmk since like when it opened, and i could play music games, but when they changed pirates, i always dc. even on monorail music game. anybody else have this problem? any idea why this happens? ty, dddj:)

Try turning your in-game VMK Sound right down to Silent while you enter those rooms. That should work :).

it is that way for me too. :mad: but Its really not that much points anyway, so I dont even think about it

I keep all three of those boxes for music and sound effects off because I dc'd every time I went into the monorail or the music mix room. Have not had a problem since I did it.

I wish VMK could fix this problem because I like hearing the music in the game, but I don't want to keep turning the sound effects on and off whenever I enter those rooms.

Make sure you are turning down the volume ingame. To do this Click "Options" on your toolbar. Uncheck all the boxes so that there is no "X" in them. And then pull the bar all the way down. Save the changes and it should work. :)

If you are doing this already, then you may have crashed for another reason, and i'd try again.

Have you tried using the Advanced Mode and going into an empty music room? I find if I'm the only one in there, I can get through my Credit Song and get out before the evil Crash arrives.

I've been having an issue sorta like this.

Everytime I go to play music on either music player, I get crashed. Sometimes after my pirates game, I get a crash, as well.

well what i do is: turn sound on mute, use advanced mode and go into a room with nobody in it :D

I had that problem. But I used the sound off and uncheck strategy, now I can stay in there for up to 2 minutes before I dc instead of dc on contact. ^_^

OK well here's da thing.
My VMK sound does Squat. Ill have it turned all the way down and il still be able to hear. This also happens when it is on Mute.
So really, i just have to go into empty, And RUN!!:turkey:

Another thing you could do is go into empty music rooms. YOur chances of DCing are less.
